La Petite Academy on S. Richfield St

I have nothing but great things to say about this La Petite. My daughter who is 4 was in the pre-k class here. Unfortunately we had to move so she was only there for 4 months but you wouldn't believe how much she learned in the short amount of time. Ms.Kris and Ms.Melissa are very good at sending out recap emails of the children's progress each day so you know what to follow up on when your child is home from school. All of the staff is friendly and they made our transition here extremely easy. I would recommend this pre-k program to every and anybody! It's well worth it for your child to be ready for kindergarten!

Really good daycare. The staff is really nice. My son was really happy. Is clean, nice and I like the security system. Also, they send you notifications on what are they doing and sometimes pictures. I really love this daycare.

I am currently seeking new employment and I applied here at this center. I really enjoyed meeting the staff and getting a tour of the center. It was very welcoming and warm. The staff greeted me kindly and seemed very well balanced. I hope to begin working here. It seems like a very nice place to work and take your child.

I don't usually write reviews but I know how hard it is to find a good, trusted day care for our kids. La petite Academy treated our daughter really good and the staff there are awesome and friendly. I do honestly recommend them for your kids.Thanks,Baraa A.

I love this place! it's been a couple of months since my little one started and I have nothing but amazing things to say. my daughter has learned so much in such a short period of time from social skills to basic reading. Mss Shanta does an amazing job and was so detrimental in helping my little one transition and adjust to daycare. They have a very interactive app that makes it easy to know what the kiddos do and eat all day,made our adjustment to daycare so much easier.Moses & Judy

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. From the disorganized staff to the looks of the place, I couldn't tell you which is more of a disappointment. I first reached out to their director asking when they have an opening for my child to start, which was August 8th. August was a bit of a ways away from May but I set up a tour and kept in touch with Michelle who was the director at the time. I had to reschedule our set date due to being sick and everything seemed fine. I scheduled for a week out and then got a call a day before my tour, letting me know they wish to reschedule and gave NO reason, just asked for a call back. I called back multiple times over a couple days and only got a voicemail. As I emailed Michelle to ask what was going on, I got an automated message back saying she was no longer the director. I finally got ahold of someone via phone after a couple days and it sounded like a teacher, she said the new director was not going to be there for the set tour and we could reschedule so I did for today. I walked into the building today with a feeling something was not right. I looked at the dirty walls and broken wood and siding on their building- one of their doors did not open and they had a ladder in front of the one that did, which made it hard to even walk into the place. The only thing I could think when I looked around was CLUTTER. The receptionist asked how she could help me and I said I was there for my 11am tour that was scheduled. The receptionist looked around confused but said she could have someone help me. I could tell they were not expecting me AT ALL. The receptionist introduces me to the new director who is standing next to her talking to someone. The director asked what age my child was and as I told her, she said their first available date was JANUARY!!! I let her know there must be some confusion as I spoke with Michelle who I was aware did not work there, however she put me on the list for August 8th to be exact. The director never asked me for my last name or looked in their system to check, just insisted their first date was January and Michelle no longer worked there.... I let them know I had already set up my CCAP for my child to go there and all they could say was, "sorry". I left and said I would rearrange everything. For those who know how CCAP works, finding a school that works with the county is hard and setting everything up isn't easy. To say the least I am not only frustrated and disappointed but that is not why I am writing this review. I want to warn other parents who are thinking of bringing their children here for the convenience of location and the fact that they do not have a lot of reviews that are honest. Please find a good child care facility that cares about the children and is not broken down like this.

It's a really good daycare, I love that the staff knows us by name and the updates they sent on the app are so helpful to stay connected during the day! Our daughter has learned so much since she started going there, she loves her teachers. The place is always clean and organized. We are very happy with our choice of daycare.
