La Escondida

we live locally. Went into this place to order lunch and stood at the counter for about 5 minutes and no one came. saw a little boy in the kitchen hanging out and heard someone talking back there, but no one ever appeared at the counter. it was also really hot and stuffy in there. i left. Won't go back!There are so many great Mexican restaurants in Summit County. Skip this place. We ended having a great lunch just up the street at La Perla!

The tacos were very good and authentic-(tender meat, onion, cilantro on fried corn tortillas). If TexMex is your thing, this is not the place for you . The staff was very friendly. The downside was that they do not serve beer. There is not much ambiance- this a great place for quick authentic tacos.

Perfect authentic Mexican cafe! Bakery for sweets and awesome tortas and tacos!! Great value and friendly people !!

Absolutely worth it! I love hole in the wall spots like this. I tried some tacos my husband had a torta. Everything was delicious. Friendly and fast service as well.

Talk about off the beaten path. You would never find this place on your own. Tacos were great and staff personable.

Tacos are amazing. Great variety and flavor, with sauces and condiments to accentuate all your options. Location is a little hard to find, inside the thrift store, but it's worth the treasure hunt!

The food was SO good! Best Mexican food i've had in a while! The rice was perfect! I got carne asada tacos !

We spend a lot of time in Mexico and are always thrilled when we can find a toco place that can live up to our expectations- La Escondida does that!!! The tacos and torta we perfect!

Amazing Taco's!!! It's located inside through the same doors as the thrift store. Not well sign posted but definitely a hidden Gem! Hole in the wall but authentic!! Will be going back every time I'm in the area. Very friendly owners, quick service!!

Very weird place in sketchy area. Really loud Spanish karaoke and inappropriate music played during the entire dinner. We were the only dinner customers and the food was just ok.
