Awesome, friendly family business however had some problems and they lost my mothers wedding band. I believe they did everything they could to find it but never found it. I would document and ask for weights and carrots of your jewelry. Sloppy handling at best. I'm sure they will do better.

The owner and all of the staff are wonderful and friendly people. They helped us design our dream wedding ring with a customized band and local aquamarine stone from Mt. Antero and worked within our budget. I also came back for earrings for our wedding and they took good care of me once again. They stand behind their products and their warranty. When a few small diamonds fell out of my band they replaced them without hesitation. I highly recommend Krivanek Jewelers.

These guys were great. I bought a necklace and chain last fall. This past month the chain link broke. Brought it back and they fixed it immediately for us! Will be shopping here again. Thanks so much! Also they have a great selection on local stones.

I love shopping at smaller jewelry stores. These guys really have their stuff in line. My wife has found multiple items she fell in love with here and they made it easy to acquire even tho I don't live in Salida. The ring I got here is an almost every day item she wears. The aquamarine is mined from mt. Antero.... locally sourced! Sweet place will be back!

The jewelry here is high quality with beautiful designs and a lot of gem choices that were mined in Colorado. We have become repeat customers because they always seem to have something that is unique and perfect.They also have a large stock of antique clocks that are great fun, and one of the jewelers here is also an expert on old American clocks. You can find something you like to purchase, or you can get your clocks repaired here. This is one of those places that just seems to have something interesting every time we go in. And we find ourselves going in every time we are in Salida!

Tim, the jeweler , at Krivanek literally restored the value and beauty of my vintage heart shaped diamond ring. He replaced missing sapphire and diamond stones that surrounded the center heart and made the setting stronger. It is impeccable work! I inherited this ring from my Mom and inquired at many jewelry stores to see if it could be repaired. All said no, reset it at a greater expense. Tim took a look at it and said he could do it and at a very reasonable rate. Love the result. So glad I went to this quality store in charming downtown Salida. The town is so lucky to have this jewel!

DO NOT GO HERE! Mark took the diamond out of the ring I had been paying for for 4 months and replaced it with a smaller one and then lied to me about it. He did give me my money back but thanked me for not taking the deal because I saved him money! He claimed the original diamond we agreed on was a cubic zirconia. No one can trust a jeweler that cannot tell the difference. I wasted months.
