This is my local grocery store. Yes, there is a competitor across the street, but their food prices tend to be higher than King Soopers, with less variety. The front-line and deli staff I've interacted with are both friendly and efficient, which is a hard combo to pull off. I honestly don't mind using self-checkout, so the lack of cashiers at any given time of day doesn't bother me. So, why only three stars?-1 star: In the three years I've lived in the area, the store has rearranged their stock twice. I understand the psychology: the more time people spend searching for what they need, the more likely they will buy stuff they don't need. But when you're autistic like me, that throws the entire shopping trip off the rails. I've left the store without things I wanted multiple times simply because they weren't where I was used to them being. When it's something I absolutely need, I end up spending time and energy I don't have searching for it.-1 star: I generally prefer going to the store instead of ordering ahead, but I decided to try it. I placed my very small order (one meat and cheese tray, one dessert tray) online two days ahead of time, only to be called the next morning to be told "Sorry, we're not able to fulfill your order." I don't know if it's because of lack of staff or lack of planning on the part of store management when it comes to ordering enough stock, but that is a poor first experience with using online ordering.

The pharmacy here is five stars, and I am so grateful for them!I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Walgreens across the street, and coming to this King Soopers was a night and day difference. They filled my prescription as soon as it was called in, the pharmacists were friendly and helpful, for people dropping off prescriptions their meds were filled within 15 minutes, and I heard the pharmacist personally assuring people she would not leave until their medications were filled. They also have significantly more hospitable hours than the Walgreens. Because of how great the pharmacist and service was here, I will be transferring all of our family's prescriptions here!

Awesome StoreI do love me some King Soopers. This store is extremely spacious and well stocked. You won't have a problem finding whatever it is you're looking for, unless it's the Klopman diamond. The restrooms are clean, too.Happy Shopping!!

Goodness this place is a zoo. Carts are all broken and all over the parking lot typically. There's only ever 2 registers open, so just do self check out. The pharmacy people don't have a clue what they're doing. I've had to wait in line twice now for 20 min for an RX due to my normal pharmacy being closed.

Every time I go to this, King Soopers and I do self check out, I always have an employee hovering over me specifically and not anyone else anyone else. Insane how both times I was the only person of color present.

I had to pick up a prescription that was filled two days ago, and still had to wait in line for 20 minutes. This is not acceptable. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere due to this incompetence. --And now a second bad experience. Only one person in the deli during the dinner rush. Not acceptable.

Corporate needs to know that the deli area is overwhelmed during the lunch hour. I told manager Rob upfront about the young man working very very hard in the deli and cant keep up and was told corporate is not giving enough hours. Please do not overwork your employees and staff correctly. Overworked workers quit when they are frustrated daily. The deli workers are always super nice and friendly!

The bakery staff is unpleasant!My company orders cookie cakes with our logo as Christmas gifts to customers every year for the past decade! We've used other King Soopers locations, but were not able to this year due to timing. The original location (Wildcat Reserve Pkwy) always enjoyed playing around with design and making them really festive. We asked for the same but this bakery staff was dismissive and seemed almost angry at the request. When I picked up the order, our logo was printed in the wrong colors and the cookie cakes were as plain as you could imagine. I asked for some of the holiday rings that have often been included in previous decorations and the bakery attendant first said they didn't have any, then gave a deep sigh that she'd have to open the bags, and lastly asked if I really needed that many.This location also charged $2 more per item than the other store that we had to use to handle half the order.If you are placing an order for any occasion that you want to make special, do NOT expect any care to be taken with your order or even a smile from the bakery.

I've been a frequent shopper here for years now, but unfortunately I can't ignore this one glaring issue any longer.Lately, each time I've been trying to use the self checkout area, the machines call an employee over after every seven items or so. Less, if the machine doesn't like my bags.At first I thought it was me, but no, this isn't just happening to me, it's happening to everybody. I was at the store last week, and there was this employee literally having to do something for almost every customer, apologizing to everyone as he tried to get these machines to leave us alone.It was so bad, that he apologized to me when he first fixed something for me, then when he had to fix another error (two minutes later), he didn't remember he had already helped me due to how many people he had had to help. According to him, this has been going on for over a month.....What???How has this been allowed to go on for a month? Has no one noticed this?I would go to a normal checkout lane, but this place only ever has one open. How is that supposed to help anyone?C'mon, King Soopers, let's fix this...

I used to love the pharmacy here, but it has gotten so bad that I will have made three separate trips in the last 24 hours about a prescription that I called about three days ago. The first time I went, I waited half an hour til their lunch was done. But, my prescription wouldn't be ready for 2-3 more hours. Drove back this evening and the line is so long (wrapped around the nearby aisles), I had to leave again because I have to be at something by 6 pm. I allowed around 20 minutes to wait in case they were busy, but when only one person moved forward in ten minutes, I knew I would never make it with at least 10 people in front of me. Tonight is the last night of my prescription, so I have to come back tomorrow AGAIN and hope that the line doesn't wrap around the entire store. Galina is the only redeeming quality of this pharmacy anymore.
