New to the area and found this nice small store that sells a lot of everything it was nice and clean fully stocked

A masked male security guard followed my girlfriend all the way into the women's restroom.We both work instacart (online shopping and delivering of groceries), that day we were both wearing clean jeans, boots and some coats we'd just gotten as it was snowing all day. Parking lot was horribly covered in grey slush, not plowed.We began shopping, we made it to the Orange Juice when we noticed the first time security came by. They had called for security rounds on the speaker, that's normal, they then called to check "Code Orange", less normal but whatever. Without missing one minute the security guy walks around us. He visually takes note of our cart.Later shopping, I was waiting outside the restroom with all of our items while my GF was in there. Security guy walked down the hall straight to the women's restroom, knocked, and quickly entered after knocking, announcing "Security!". He stepped in fully and stood inside and walked into both of the stalls next to hers, GF remained quiet. On his way out I was watching him, he passed and told me "There's only one person in there", I replied "I know, it's my girlfriend, in the women's restroom..", He walked off and continued to stare at us, even during checkout, and while we were leaving.I understand it's security's responsibility to keep the place safe and prevent theft. I've worked in a number of stores, I get it. But many store chains nowadays have a problem with coming across as potentially Dangerous to shoppers, including this location. This isn't my first issue with stores, the other week we went into Walmart and thought their undercover loss prevention was a stalking murder the way he passed us 7 times staring in our faces. All cause we got soap and food.I'm not sure if it's how we look or dress, we're mid 20s coming in after work/school wearing either work clothes or nursing scrubs, I'm confused as to where this issue of perception comes from. Especially when it's SO easy to see who's actually there to steal and/or actually do drugs in the bathroom. The only other reason I could think of is because my girlfriend is mixed, which is a horrible issue for this store to have in and of itself.It's a grocery store, people are there to buy things. Stop being weird about it and get to know your customer base. 0/10 Experience, except for only the guys making the hot and ready chickens. They're really cool and helpful

I've been shopping here a couple months. Today was typical and typical here is bad.First no carts in the indoor corral ever. Second, one register open to force you into self checkout. Third, self checkout stops you every two seconds to show you a video of you putting something in the bag area and it complaining you didn't scan when you did . So you have to wait for the one attendant who is busy with all the other broken self checkouts to come check you did scan and then put a code in.The only reason I give two stars is because the majority of employees try to be kind and do a good job. For example the produce section in the morning looks clean and well displayed. Today there was an employee helping a disabled person and she was so nice to everyone as she tried to help get the person through their shopping chore.I really dread going to King Soopers now. What a crap place to be for hard workers.

I agree with most comments this is the worst KS store and it's sad because it's the closest one to my apartment. There's constantly no carts or baskets, you have to hunt your own in the parking lot, staff could care less, in the self checkout lane the lady in front of me just left with her groceries without paying I told the employee and she didn't care and the security guy is walking around for fun I believe.

This store has been consistently declining for several years now. It used to be my "go to" store, but no longer. I'll shop there for a few items as it's very close to my apartment. I was there yesterday (4/15) to get some meat from the deli and discovered the traditional deli is no longer there. What I found were long counters of prepackaged deli items - no selection of meats, etc for personalized quantities; which also meant no staff person available. Wow. Just wow. The store has been recently remodeled (or rearranged), but it's still a mess. I'm shopping Safeway and Sprouts more and more even though their prices are higher.

Every time I'm there I get harassed by the frat boy looking security guards on power trips. They lock up all the laundry, then refuse to come and assist you when you need to actually purchase it. Pressed the call button multiple times and eventually gave up and will purchase else where. Genuinely a terrible time

Went shopping today. When I got to the dairy there was not a single egg. This is unacceptable from a large company like Kroger. I will start shopping elsewhere.

This store is awful. Busy time of day had one very slow checkout person with 6 baskets lined up waiting. Another cashier finally opened up and I went through and requested cash back. She would only give me a $100 bill. I had to go and wait in line at customer service to get smaller bills. There were 5 people in line and I didn't see anyone there helping customers. Three people who worked in the pharmacy were talking to people in line about using the pharmacy when shopping. I told them that I would probably never be back and one of them took me to someone in charge and he begrudgingly gave me $20 bills. If not for her caring who knows how much longer I would have been waiting in a line that was going nowhere.

I now get my prescriptions through Optimum RX and I don't have to wait in line anymore with five people ahead of me I get them delivered in the mail a 3-month supply on top of that and I now shop at Walmart I order my groceries through the app and do a curbside pickup so I don't have to deal with the crowded sloppy parking lot that this store has had for years nor do I have to pay the high prices that Kroger is charging and they want to buy Albertsons and be the top dog of everything I don't agree.

This King Soopers is the pits. Like idk if this is Kroger's form of redlining but its insane how rundown and gross this place in comparison to the King Soopers Fresh Fare about 10-15 minutes away. It should honestly be illegal for companies to have such disparity in quality between stores. The parking lot is lawless, the store seemingly does not have any handbaskets only full sized carts (if you can find one). Only King Soopers I can think of that always has a security guard at the entrance but that doesn't seem to make the place feel any safer. If you have any shred of self respect you'll go anywhere else.
