Kemosabe Sushi

4.25 stars (yelp doesn't allow me to do quarter stars)mrs. perfect roll (named after myself) was scrumptious with a sweet sauce. monster roll was not quite that-- definitely less than monstrous in size.Service was swell! Deer was ... dead. The counts were a bit sus but it all worked out in the end .very ominous messages from the waiter about the "sushi count" heightened tensions. great colorado cabin animal head ambiance though

My wife got some sushi she enjoyed and I got some hot sake. The hot sake was interesting and we both liked it. The seating area by the bar was nice and our food came out quickly. They were open later than some of the surrounding businesses.

We went here as we were craving sushi and it seemed one of the few places in the area to acquire some.They offerings were pretty basic, but the sashimi portions were massive.The bao were tasty.Service was friendly and it is a large restaurant.I feel like maybe sushi isn't their strong suit.

Highly recommend!! Such a good variety and sure to have options for everyone's cravings! Service was incredible here! All the staff was SO helpful and awesome. We went about an hour before they closed too and they were still helpful and didn't rush us at all. I had the miso soup and it was SO good! We also had a cucumber avocado roll and a Philadelphia roll! Highly recommend both! The sweet potato fries were also great!

We had to wait for an hour to get seated as they were short on sushi chef (so we were told). Such a nice seating area in comparison to Silverheels where we hung out when we waited and the live music was way too loud. We were probably shouting at each other over the course of sushi since our ears had been blasted for too long.The food was ok, hits and misses. Kani was not my favorite; Salmon skin salad turned out to be refreshing. Spicy tuna was everyone's favorite, which was surprising. Service was good. Price ok especially considering it's in a mountain town.

We came here for dinner and we ordered quite a bit of food for a table of 6. Chicken lettuce wraps, cheese and crab wontons, and tempura zucchini was very good. Sushi was decent. Our server was an older blonde lady and we saw her maybe a total of 3-4 times. Took multiple asks to get drink refills. Our food runner was much better than our server and even asked how our food tasted. Our server proceeded to look over our shoulder as we were paying the bill and shook her head at the amount we left for the tip as if she was unhappy. When she asked what was wrong with the service and we told her she then went to the table 5 feet from us to gossip and called us "losers" loud enough for us to hear.

The sushi is great! They can accommodate large groups and are willing to service separate checks.

I gave it a two star because the hostess tried. Almost every table in the restaurant had their plates half full. The food is terrible. The edamame is way over cooked. All of our 5 rolls sucked. The shrimp fright rise was below average. Overall BAD!

The service is OK but the food is subpar at best. The Ambiance is Ok but not great. Never seen a restaurant with almost every table has people that didn't eat their food. Then you get your food and it's not hard to figure out why. Most people can make better sushi at home.

The service was really great and friendly. The food, however, was a serious disappointment. I think the supermarket does better with sushi and this place is seriously conflicted regarding if they are a sushi place or a pub. I don't know if the pub food is good but there is no particular skill with Asian food based on our experience. Most of the sushi was flavorless fish that relies on cream cheese or in some cases melted cheese to make it work. I'd recommend trying the burger instead.
