Kava Tava by Shane

Stopped in here for some gelato after eating lunch Nextdoor at Abby's. There was no one else inside; but I'm sure it gets popular at night or maybe during the summer when more people are wanting gelato. The space itself seems pretty larger with places to sit inside and it is clean. The guy working let us try some samples. He was friendly and efficient. I got a scoop of the chocolate strawberry gelato. It was creamy in the way gelato is with chunks of good dark chocolate. They have other dessert kinds of items on the menu and prices are high, but nothing out of the ordinary for this kind of thing. They have a large shared parking lot for easy parking.

Great gelato! Every flavor was excellent and there was plenty of vegan options. Warm atmosphere. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

This place is ADORABLE! What a hidden gem in North Colorado Springs! The gelato is the best I've ever had! The ambience and atmosphere is very unique and clever and cute. The drinks are great. The food is outstanding. Great location. Fantastic service! We met the owner & he was super friendly!

Great little local coffee shop! We got a couple of coffees to go and they were all good. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They had a pretty good looking food menu, so we will be stopping by for breakfast soon. They have a nice low key vibe and would love to see them do well in the land of chains.

What an amazing little find...this coffee shop/gelato/food, even cocktails should be at the top of your list. It's so nice to go in and relax and enjoy the drinks, food and atmosphere.I found out about Kava Tava from a friend and now it's my "go to".Kudos to management and staff, you really know what you're doing and you're doing it so well.

I first found Kava Tava by accident, and what a lucky find! I've now been there several times including coffees, breakfast and lunch. My almond milk lattes are always perfect, and sometimes have a design on top in the foam. It reminds me of the baristas in other countries.The food is good and always perfectly cooked. It's one of the few coffee shops I have been to where I also enjoy eating.The staff and owners are so friendly! Strike up a conversation - they are really interesting people with lots of different life experiences, especially travel related. I am looking forward to bringing some of my other friends there, it just hasn't worked out yet.Oh, I frgot to mention the decadent homemade gelato! Yummy!

This place was so nice that we stopped in twice during our week in Colorado Springs. It was a lovely discovery that enhanced our vacation. The atmosphere was spacious yet cozy, had a beautiful mountain view and was very clean and tidy. The staff greeted us and were friendly and Shane really was interesting and fun to meet. He puts great attention to the craftsmanship of those towering sandwiches which were fresh and delicious. Our drinks were excellent and were served in unique ceramic mugs. There are all the traditional drink choices and some very creative ones too. You will have a hard time choosing your gelato flavor because that gelato just looks so beautiful. I finally chose lemon cookie and loved it. Kava Tava was so polished , every aspect such a pleasure.
