Kara Fabina - Wedding Dance Lessons

For several years I had Kara as a dance teacher for blues and swing (8 count lindy, 6 count, & jitterbug) back when I lived in Colorado Springs. The foundation she has given me has been incredibly valuable and I even refer to videos from back when I was learning to work on teaching dance myself in my new home. Her teaching style is lighthearted, accessible, and straightforward. Kara is great at breaking the awkwardness felt when learning to dance, while also reinforcing important information on safety and how to not trip and fall. I'd highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to learn partnered dance, whether learning to lead or follow.

Based on the hour-long private dance lesson I booked and took last weekend with Kara, I highly recommend her teaching. She listened to my goals, considered my described dance experience and my impression of where it has limitations, and taught me many ways to improve the core elements of my dance abilities and skills. She respectfully and skillfully communicated verbally and kinesthetically, and gave me both instruction and feedback. Such an individualized hour of instruction was well worth my time, effort, and the cost. I'm now using those concepts and drilling those skills, and will in the weeks and months to come, and already am benefiting. Plus, she kept the lesson non-judgmental, pleasant, and fun. I expect that anyone who calls her for a lesson will be similarly glad they did, and will wish they had acted on it sooner.

My son and I took a lesson from Kara for his upcoming wedding. She was professional, fun and a great dance teacher. We learned a lot in just one lesson. Highly recommend!!

Kara is amazing and I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a dance instructor. She was very easy to work with and flexible to our (my fiancée and I) schedules. I actually don't dance at all and found a lot of confidence in myself with her instruction. My fiancée and I are looking forward to our first dance at our wedding.
