Jun Japanese Restaurant

My wife and I have been eating at Jun Japanese for over ten years. We sadly have never done a review for Jun until now. This restaurant is a must for Colorado Springs. With an amazing sushi bar, hibachi grill experience or traditional Japanese table experience, the service remains truly exceptional. The environment is always relaxing and entertaining. And because we have always had a great experience with our chefs Felix and Jun himself, we decided to try Kagoshima Wagyu ( winner of the Wagyu Olympics) per recommendation of Jun. we were very excited to try it and Jun was very proud to serve it! All of the sushi's are amazing and served like art for the mouth.

Teriyaki calamari was fry good even though it was a calamari steak. It actually tasted like calamari and the sauce, rice, cabbage with it was so flavorful. The fuzzy drink wasn't fizzy and I question whether it actually had any alcohol in it. My husband's king sushi looked amazing. One order wasn't not enough to satisfy him so another option to go with it would be advisable. I have trouble with chopsticks so they gave me a clip that helped so much. Didn't need a fork this trip.

Came here for the first time in years and I love the changes. I got really sick the last time I came here and tonight's experience was a huge improvement. Sushi was fresh and service was excellent. Really excited to come back in the future!

I went to Jun's for a ladies lunch and the experience was perfect. Although I was praised for unveiling a hidden gem to my companions, the fresh authentic food, value and lovely service deserve all the glory. Highly recommend.

This place is the best quality & service SUSHI in the springs. Also very kind and support of Service Animals!

Went in with no reservation and had a short wait before we were seated. Everything we ordered was delicious and the food came out pretty fast. They only negative thing about the place is that our waters came at different times and we had to ask for our napkin and chopsticks. Not sure if our waitress was off her game but she was nice. Overall great place, I recommend it

Still the best after 30 years. I first started going here in 1992 when I moved to Colo Springs. They have the absolute highest quality seafood and I can taste the difference including larger sushi pieces, with all the accompanying frills like a hot towel to start. Happy hour from 5 to 6:30 makes for a really good value as well. Try them!

Beware!!! This place charges you extra fees for employees insurance and inflation fees. It's a percentage for both. I will never go here again and neither will any of my family.

We love this place! Start off with warm towel soup and cucumber salad. The sushi here is the best hands down! Large pieces of fish and the rolls are delicious! Finishing for dessert with the ripest pineapple. If you haven't tried it, you need to. Mmm mm

$37 for one order of chicken fried rice and two eggrolls, and both were awful. I threw it all in the trash. Never again.
