Judge's Char-Grill

We live nearby and have good service for both to-go & in restaurant. Food has had good and a couple of not so good burgers or loaded fries, yet enchiladas and such have been consistent. As with all service places, it always depends on how someone else's day is going. I make bad meals as well as everyone else. It feels comfortable and family oriented. Still going to keep coming to try as many different items that I like.

We stopped here for lunch on the way back from our visit to the Cripple Creek Ice Festival. We got in around 2:45pm so it was not very busy, but I did find it strange they seated every person that came in right next to each other for the size of the restaurant (I understand it's for the servers sake, but a bit of separation would have been preferable). We ordered a cup of chili with cheese, bowl of pork green chili, caesar salad, mushroom Swiss burger, jalapeño poppers, and the berry pecan salad. The two of us that got the chili's both agreed they were overly meat forward for our personal preferences. The salads were both great and very large, and the burger as well as the poppers were also good!

The nachos were amazing but definitely needs more pico on it. Other than that I was very happy with how their chips remained crunchy pretty much the entire time I was eating. The service is also great. It was probably just unfortunate this party was there but I only couldn't finish my food because people kept chatting and coming closer to me as I was eating so it was a little overwhelming. Next time i'd probably ask to not be in the bar area. I would return

Good experience! We were seated quickly, waiter was friendly, checked on us frequently. We shared onion rings as an app, split a carne asada burrito smothered in Christmas sauce (big enough for 2!!), chicken fried steak and 2 margs. The blackberry marg rocked! Happy.

After a long road trip it was nice to be back in town to try the local food. The staff is very friendly. My husband ordered a Judge's burrito & I had the Swiss mushroom burger added grilled onions without the bun. The burger meat was a nice size handmade & not your normal thin size. The owner was checking on us & mention dessert. My husband always ask if it was made in house. Homemade is our kryptonite. When the chocolate pie came to our table it was gone too fast to take a photo . It was as really good! If you have not tried this place go by and Enjoy! FYI if the parking look like they are all busy don't let it fool you. It's a big place.

I had a craving for a steak and they have an excellent selection and good portions and the water tastes good. The NY Strip is lean and delicious, the baked potato was slightly undercooked but still pretty dang good as well as the salad (loved the croutons and dressing), excellent service, the place was busy but it's a calm, comfortable environment while you eat even though they have a bar when you walk in (appreciated the clear, concise directions on the door). Can't wait to come back and try more options they have to satisfy my carnivorous cravings. Thanks guys

The flavor was okay but the wait from the time of order was a bit on the long side. The cost of the burgers are a little on the high side for what you get. Also pay attention that they tack on the tip regardless and call it a "service charge" and then offer you a line to add on another tip. Typical vacation food spot. Nothing fancy, priced for a one time 'build back better' visit. Enjoy if you like.

Okay- so I have been to Judge's twice. Once when Judge's was in the central part of WP and this time at the new location just outside of WP proper. WOW! I don't know what happened with the move, but I am BEYOND impressed with our experience (the first experience years ago was a bit disappointing)! The food was phenomenal, the service fantastic, Mr. Judge himself brings the orders out, and he walks around checking that everything is okay and you as the customer are satisfied. The place is very clean, including the bathrooms, and there is plenty of parking (compared to their old location). I had read several reviews of Judge's since moving to this new location and I am so happy I did as well as giving this place another chance. Delicious and we will definitely be back!

Great service and delicious food. My partner and I recently moved to the area and have been trying out the restaurants in town. This one has been our favorite so far. We had the tacos al pastor and 12 oz ribeye with a loaded potato on the side. Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection. The restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon!
