Jives Coffee Lounge

Update: I still love this coffee shop. I feel like my previous review was unfair and only captured a snapshot of the lived experience of many through the pandemic. This shop has a great menu, wonderful staff, and lovely ambiance. I love being able to come here to enjoy a warm beverage and grade papers or lesson plan. I'm grateful this local gem exists.

The owner was engaging, the food was delicious and fresh, the ambiance was eclectic and chill, and the coffee was worth the money. The only thing that would make this coffee shop better is a cold brew option.

We came here to fuel up for the rest of the day. The entrance is pretty nice. Almost seems like a hotel entrance. There is some seating right outside as you walk in but also plenty of seating inside as well. It looks like they have live music on some occasions although there wasn't any while we were there.We ordered a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it also came with some chips. Everything was delicious. Nothing crazy. Just a solid sandwich and solid chips. We also had a strawberry banana smoothie and that was also very good! Not too sweet and a little tart.Service was good too. He was friendly and fast. Overall, solid place. Solid food. Solid service.

First time visiting. I really enjoyed my experience here. The ambiance was nice and chill. The baristas were friendly. They dropped off condiments with the food as well as cleared our plates while we were finishing up our coffees. The food was really good, and the portions were generous. I had the Don Bacon Skyscraper - it was delicious and huge! The classic breakfast was good. My caramel iced coffee and my husband's hot coffee were great and good quality. Highly recommend.

This cute coffee shop is located in Old Colorado City and the exterior is absolutely beautiful. I went during the day but I'm sure it's amazing at night. I got the spicy chai which was so delicious. Service was excellent and pricing wasn't bad either.

Ambiance, service and food were all incredible. Never thought I'd crave a salad for breakfast but their's is amazing

Had the best chai I have ever had in a while! Amy made one of her specialty drinks that she dubbed the Pretty Fly For A White Chai! Certainly deserving of the chalkboard and maybe a spot on the menu!! 100% recommend!

I've gone here for almost 4 years now, playing chess, listening to random bands play, and eating, or doing a simple Bible study. Nothing can ever beat the vibes I get here and I happily will place this 5 star review here. Plus, the owners are the sweetest people and always treat with kindness and a smile :)

Visiting from California and the owner is awesome. Food is incredible, drinks are super yummy, the place is so cozy and cute. Best cafe we've had in CO!
