Normally I wait to write a review but this food was good! The only challenge encountered was following the GPS directions. It's located off the main road and you have to take the back road, cut through the parking lot and you're there. It can be seen from the street but there are no opportunities to turn into the lot from the main road.I reviewed the menu online and knew I'd wanted to try the curried goat. Since it was closing soon, the guy preparing my order gave me cabbage and two plantains since he didn't have enough for a full order. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ordered a beef patty and it did not disappoint. The beef patty was hot and fresh and about the size of my hand. The filling was generous and not the kind of situation where there's maybe a tablespoon of filling. It didn't even make it back because I ate half in the parking lot and the other half while driving. I looked down at my shirt and devoured the flaky crumbs that landed on my shirt. The portion was appropriate for the price point. There is a pepper sauce on the table but they don't have any to go cups. I dashed some on my order before leaving. Tender, juicy and flavorful, I quickly began to "mash it up" (IYKYK) and felt my hangry-ness subsiding.Parking is shared in a lot with some neighboring businesses. On the sign, it says J's Jamaican Flava but online it may be simply referenced as Jamaican Flava. Hey, signs costs money and if you're doing it right, they will come. You can dine in or opt to get your food to go. Capable of contactless pay, credit card and cash. There is no charge if paying by credit card. I'm unsure if you can call your order in. It only took 3 minutes to get my food and I was on my way. The workers were sociable and inviting. If in the area, I'd dine here again. A well deserved five star review.

Nice little restaurant. The vibes inside are chill and the people that work there are super nice. The food came out nice and hot...but the fried chicken was pretty dry :/ in the future, I'd probably go with the Jerk Chicken bc it came with gravy on top

Looking for some pre wedding substance and as I was scrolling through options I came across Jamaican Flavor and was automatically sold. I'm going to admit when we were in Jamaica I was a buffoon vegetarian so I never really got to have authentic Jerk chicken straight from the source but since then I have changed my ways and love thugs all things chicken and all things spice. Plus I know I love peas and rice and let's be honest that is a great base for a wedding. Well as we were ordering some jerk chicken I saw they also had brown stewed chicken and having discovered my love / obsession for Belizean stewed chicken we decided to try that too. The jerk chicken was AMAZING. They offer two options regular and spicy so naturally we got spicy and it was bomb AF. Some really great heat and you didn't even need the hot sauce they generously gave us. The Brown Stewed chicken, though not quite as flavorful as what I am used to was still good, though definitely mild on the spice level so I was very thankful they sent along some Jamaican hot sauce as I needed to spice it up a bit. If you are looking for some fire you absolutely should go with the spicy jerk!!! It is quite delicious. And of course peas and rice and cabbage, though not the best peas and rice I've had. I'm wondering if it was made with coconut milk because it didn't taste like it. Though I just soaked it in the chicken stew and hot sauce and of course it was bomb. Pretty sure that's what it's meant for. But I do keep thinking back to that jerk which was so spicy and delicious. If you're in the mood for some bomb food make sure to check them out!

Food is delicious but too stingy in the portions. First Caribbean place I experienced where the portions are ridiculously small with tiny pieces of oxtail, no more than 4-5 bones. Work on your portions

Stopped by for a quick lunch. It's your typical hole in the wall Jamaican joint. I went with the classic Jerk chicken with rice and peas. Food was okay but didn't taste super fresh. Had decent Jamaican flavors. I liked the plantains the best. Was hoping for a little more. It wasn't bad just nothing to write home about.

The ox tail was good but the tiny bones made it less pleasant to eat because the fear of chewing on the bones in almost every bite

BLUF: Good Jamaican food, I'd come here again.Service: The service was great. Very friendly and the food came out quickly. Food: The food was great. I had the oxtail, rice and peas, and fried plantains. The only real downside for me was that the portion size was a little small for the price. Really, a little more oxtail would have made it perfectly worth it. As it stands, an entree and a drink was just shy of what I would consider one meal. I generally eat half an entree for a meal, so that was slightly disappointing.Even with the portion size, I would definitely come here again.

I've had tried other Jamaican restaurants in the Springs, but this place has to be one of my favorites for Jamaican food! The flavor of the oxtail was delicious & even the steam cabbage was yummy! The service was good as well, the owners son opened the door for me haha. I recommend this place! 10/10!
