Integrity Training and Coaching

I have been riding with Kristie for a year and a half now. I am a lifetime rider but had an extended break and was ready to get back in the saddle. Kristie matched me with a perfect school horse and through this duo of horse and human teachers my dressage education has increased exponentially. Kristie creates the perfect balance of encouragement and challenge and every lesson is dynamically adapted to my goals as a rider and the horse at hand. Kristie trains with kindness and teaches with passion. Saturdays at Integrity are one of the best parts of my week!

I've waited probably 6 months to write this to ensure I wasn't just being spiteful or even overreacting. Since then, at least 5 other people have had a similar experience as I did so it seems only fair to warn others. I can't personally speak to the training, but I can say from experience that the management of the barn and the boarders would be better handled by my middle schooler. Don't even dare think to ask a question about anything or you will be terminated about an hour later by email. Lies, backstabbing, gossip...by Christie and Lizzie. The other boarders are great. Unfortunately no one seems to last more than a few months before they get a 5 days termination email.

Kristie is a wonderful trainer! She truly takes the time to understand both her clients and the horses that she trains. I came to find Kristie after a fairly significant riding accident. She paired me with an appropriate horse and helped me get my confidence back. When it came time to look into purchasing a horse, she helped me start a young horse off right (in the wrong hands this horse would have become a very hard in the mouth). If you're looking for a very skilled trainer without the fuss of a huge show barn, this is the place for you!(For reference I have trained/taken clinics with many big name trainers and been a working student at multiple facilities)

This is a great facility (physically), and if you want to board on pins and needles this is the place for you. If you want to know your horses best interests are the priority - this is NOT the place for you. Kristie is a great trainer, and is easy to understand in lessons. Too bad she isn't the one managing the place. Lizzie is entitled and temperamental, and her solution to conflict is to either threaten to kick you out, or immediately terminate your contract. This young lady has a lot to learn about being successful in business. Additionally, while they profess to use "high quality" hay, many horses had mold fed to them. Totally not acceptable.

Not impressed. I had been trying to get in contact with Kristie to just do a meet and greet to discuss training/lesson options. I moved a few years ago, had a baby, retired my prior horse so I had had time off. Kristie lead me to believe that she was interested but continued to blow me off. She didn't bother to find out my background, meet me or even talk on the phone with me! She could've said from the start she wasn't taking new clients instead of wasting my time. For someone who is supposedly trying to build their business, it appears there is a lot of preconceived judgement taking place before even meeting a person! Horrible business. I used to ride with world renowned dressage trainers and have never been treated this way.And now you are going to lie about how you handled everything?! Wow! Lack of accountability! Unreal.... Continued lack of professionalism, communication, and business skills! I've been riding for years and worked with various trainers and never have I ever been treated like this! Even when I lived in San Diego and rode with trainers there-those trainers were actually REALLY busy and never would have ever treated me or anyone like this. You didn't talk on the phone with me once! I called and you didn't even bother to respond. It required me reaching out to Melanie to get you to even call me back after a whole week. And even then you continued to flake out. And you continue to demonstrate that only your time is important, even in this review! Another awful business choice! I was the person repeatedly making the effort and trying to connect. You knew/know nothing about me. You invited me to a clinic with 2 days notice after repeatedly telling me you would reach out and never did. As an excuse you claimed you were too busy for this and that and claimed you would follow up yet never made the effort to follow through. So yes! This just proves how warranted this review is! Nobody wants to be treated like this! Especially when they come to YOU wanting to pay YOU for a service! And for someone working up here for 30 years-you don't have one review!? C'mon. Or your own barn? You didn't treat me kindly, professionally or equally. And it truly is just disappointing because i am extremely dedicated but you wouldn't know that bc you never took the time to even speak with me. I had multiple opportunities for you but again you wouldn't know bc you didn't take the time to talk to me. I will be making sure I mention this to my friends and other trainers. I have the screen shots and phone records to prove everything! You should be ashamed of yourself for lying!

I feel so lucky to have found Integrity Training! I took a few lessons with Kristie, absolutely loved her style, and then Kristie and Lizzie generously helped me find a horse to half lease at their barn. I am learning so much from these amazing horse women and having lots of fun. Most importantly, the barn is very well managed and the horses are truly loved and get phenomenal care. I am coming from the east coast and have ridden at a lot of barns and Integrity has really impressed me with the quality of teaching, horse care, and the friendly atmosphere.

I have been boarding at Integrity for around 5 months now. I'm so grateful that I found this place not only for the incredible care but also for access to Kristie as a trainer. This is a place where horses come first. The care is superb. Lizzie does a great job working with the horses to find the best care. My horse is very opinionated on what horses he likes to be around. Lizzie and Kristie never made me feel like that was my fault and worked to find buddies for him and situations that worked all around. I'm never concerned for my horse's well being as Kristie, Lizzie, and Mike live on site and keep a close eye on the horses throughout the day. To give just one example of the type of care, the other day my horse starting coughing (something he did a lot in the East Coast but hasn't since we moved to Integrity). Lizzie immediately informed me so I could discuss with my vet about his new meds and then took his temperature and gave me updates throughout the day. Beyond that, she's working with me to figure out the best way to give him his meds in the future. For someone who works during the day and can't always make it to the barn, this is incredibly helpful and reassuring. While I primarily trail ride, I started taking lessons with Kristie for the last month and a half. I'm so happy that I am! Kristie is kind and patient and truly knows how to help the horse help itself. We call it Silver's physical therapy. His back legs were rotating as he walked in soft ground but already I'm seeing a difference as he learns to hold himself correctly and use his stifles. Kristie is helping me keep my 22 year old in peak shape and moving more freely and comfortably.

Kristie and Lizzie have been taking care of my horses and training them for over 20 years. I would never trust anyone else with them. They have always gone above and beyond making sure they are happy, healthy, and get the attention and care they need. They treat every horse as their own. The facility is beautiful and well maintained and the other boarders are happy and kind as well. Kristie's training is one of a kind. Her passion and unique gifts with horses are something every horse owner needs in their life! Lizzie is always making sure the horses and their owners are happy, spending extra time with each one individually everyday. I cannot say enough good things about them!
