My kids normally go to camp every summer but this year ended up being a little different due to CORONA. ID-RA-HA-JE has found another way to serve and they have done a marvelous job accommodating some of my crazy needs. We have been up there 3 times so far this summer and they have made every experience better than the time before. They have amazing programs, staff, food, worship. I would recommend heading up there to spend a day away from it all. I was sad my kids didn't get to experience camp but the best part of it was I got to experience some of the best parts of camp with my kids. Truly a blessing

I went to this camp as a chaperone with a local charter school this week. It is a Christian camp, and while some of the students had been there previously with church groups, others with no religious affiliation expressed some angst at what to expect. We had a wonderful experience, and I was blown away by professionalism and expertise of the staff. While they obliviously do well with church groups, they are also great with secular groups. The classes the students took ranged from survival skills, to bouldering, to animal habitats, to archery, to high ropes, to pioneering. The kids had a wonderful time, the food was good, and the staff was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Their campus is in beautiful, peaceful, Bailey. Not too far from the city, but far enough to get away. A great place to have any church, school, or even business retreat!

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. We signed up my little sister for this camp after hearing many good things but once we picked her up we realized just how horrible of a place this is. My little sister was bullied. Her tent mates would call her stupid, they left dirt in her sleeping bag, left their dirty underwear under her pillow and in her sleeping bag. She confided in a fellow tent mate who told the counselor that my sister was starting drama and lying. One specific tent mate would hit her and smack her. For a place that is so Christian and asks girls to pack one piece swimsuits and "modest shorts" they quite literally do not care about bullying. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am so upset and hurt that I trusted these people with my baby sister.

I went here as a child and then I was Summer staff, the full time staff for a short time when I was 19. Camp IdRaHaJe means the world to me. I worked here when John O. Was the leader over camp and Kay K. Was the head cook. What a wonderful time I had here. As a camper but more as Summer staff and full time staff. I'll never forget John's kindness towards my family. My mom was a single parent and he took care of us kids every Summer with a week of camp. What a wonderful person. I don't know what it's like now, but I have very fond memories here and will cherish them for a lifetime.

Great day camp during Covid as long as you don't cancel. There's no refunds during Covid. But they won't tell you that. They promptly responded to my correspondence until I had to cancel my spouse coming.

We recently held our end of season Football Team Party and participated in Archery Tag. All the kids and adults loved the activity. It was new to us all which made it very exciting.Travis Badding helped me organize the event and it went very smoothly. The location and space were perfect.I would highly recommend this activity at this location.

BEWARE of this place. During my daughter's stay, she got very ill. Her counselor left her alone in the cabin for several days, vomiting, while the rest of the group went about their activities. We received no calls and didn't know about this until we picked her up at the end of camp. I called the director. His response was essentially, "Hmm. That's odd. The counselor should have called the camp nurse." He wasn't concerned about my daughter's lousy experience or the medical danger she could have been in.Our group of 12 girls chose to go to Eagle Lake the next year. Wonderful experience there.

I would think twice about this place. My son went 3 times. The first time, it was okay. The 2nd time he was listening to Shania Twain on his headset and the "pastors wife" came over and told him it was Satan music. My son was crying and so confused that he had done something wrong. The next year he chose to go with his friend. They were in teepee camp and there were some teens supervising them. The teens went out one night and clubbed baby rabbits and my kids were so upset when I picked them up.Don't bother with a camp that is far from spiritual in who they really are and what they represent. This gave my son a horrible taste in his mouth unfortunately for religion, it haunted him for years. BEWARE of this place.

Every year my kids have a great time at Idrahaje. Every year they tell us how they are going back next year. The counselors have been great. The camp has a good schedule - enough time for activities, bible, small group time, etc. 2018 was special due to the new gymnasium and climbing wall building. Each week the camp has a worship time with all camps participating. Thanks Idrahaje!

My kids love this camp. It's my daughters 3rd year going and my sons 2nd! They grow closer to Christ and have a blast and make good friends. The staff is super helpful and kind. My son came home and said he didn't want to get on technology another week cuz it was such a good break. He did Wilderness Ridge camp and loved it. It's also extremely affordable which helps especially if you have more than on kid!
