Icing On The Cake

Cupcakes are light and fluffy and the frosting isn't too sweet. Perfection! Nice selection in the case or if you need something special easy order process.

We can't thank Ici g on the Cake and Michelle enough for saving the day! Our wedding cake baker called an hour and a half before drop off to cxl my daughter's wedding cake. We frantically called around and Michelle was able to make us a replacement in only a couple hours!

We surprised my daughter, in Colorado Springs, CO, for her birthday. My daughter is a trained pastry chef so a supermarket cake wasn't going to do so we looked up bakeries and found this place. Not only did they have a cake but they were super friendly and helpful. The cake wasn't really my taste but my daughters loves it. I also ordered cupcakes because they were so beautiful. The cupcakes were fantastic. The lemon with the lemon gel filling was one of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted as was the vanilla with vanilla cream.

I am so beyond impressed by this Bakery. I was traveling over a birthday and needed to get a special cake made. They were beyond easy to work with and we were blown away by the appearance and taste!! I messaged them a picture of what I kind of wanted and my idea and they made it happen! The staff is all so friendly and kind! Customer service was on point!! My only meh part was we weren't told how to store the cake until time to eat, and the pickup instructions weren't clear; all things I totally could have asked about. The cake was INCREDIBLE. My family raved about the taste and cake. We had a basic marble cake with buttercream, and when I tell you we had no leftovers, the box was licked clean! 10/10 recommend

Easy to work with, nice & friendly staff, not only a beautiful cake but very tasty as well! I am extremely impressed, looks just like the picture I sent them. They also used mostly all buttercream and the finishing on the cake is so smooth, you would have thought it was all fondant! Will definitely go back next time I need a cake!

Icing on the Cake made spectacular cupcakes for my work promotion ceremony. I was nervous about my color/design choices but the bakers were super accommodating, patient, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend going in-person to speak with their bakers and get an idea for what they can do. Bring pictures to show what you're looking for. They don't offer cake tastings but I bought a few cupcakes and tried them there to pick my cake flavor, frosting, and designs. Although not required I paid for everything ahead of time and the cupcakes were boxed and ready to go the day of my event for a seamless pick up. The cupcakes turned out better than I expected and all my friends and family loved them! The cake was not even close to being dried out like I worried. It was perfect. The butter creme is the best I've had from local bakeries in COS. If you like the design be sure to ask for a rosette pattern on the icing. The almond cake is fantastic. It has just the right amount of flavor without being too sweet or overwhelming. I added raspberry filling which was a wonderful compliment at no extra charge! Thank you for making my event so special. Looking forward to my next order!

Great service . Came into Colorado Springs for Halloween weekend for my husband. Although the email communication was subpar once I called them I was able to get things done . The cake was good but if your wanting good service make sure to stay on top of communication with them if your out of town.

Was recommended how wonderful the cupcakes were, so I got several. They were all tasty and great! I'm a creature of habit, and drink coffee when eating any lemon or chocolate desserts, and it pairs well. As for the blueberry muffin and strawberry cheesecake muffin, I just love it by itself. Service was quick and easy, being helped right when I walk in.

5/5. We ordered our wedding cake for a week out. It arrived perfectly with the best strawberry taste. We did "decorate" it ourselves with real flowers and a topper to save on costs. Today I came in for cheesecake. We had strawberry, New York, and Oreo + 2 cupcakes. Delicious! I'd recommend.

Definitely suggest this bakery for any event! They are doing our wedding cake and they did my sons dinosaur birthday cake. The cake was strawberry and beyond delicious! Everyone complimented on how good it was and asked where we got it. Absolutely recommend!
