The owners Ben a d Molly are incredible! They are so friendly and take great pride in their store. I bought all kinds of goodies! Next time I can't wait to try the ice cream. Definitely worth visiting if you are staying in Howard or just passing through!!!

The people who have given this store good reviews must be friends because this place was pretty bad. Very weird vibe. The owners (male half) had a horrible attitude and my being light hearted and polite made no difference. And one small coffee and one small latte costs $8.00 and the flavor was...meh. I would not recommend this place. It's too bad because I've been looking for a good local coffee shop for my many trips between Canon City and Salida.

Super nice local store. The owners are very helpful. They have many delicious things to buy. Would return.

On the long ride between Canon City and Salida, Howard General is an oasis, with barrista made coffees, hand dipped ice cream and a wide selection of locally sourced groceries and specialty items. Try the home made soups and quiche, macha latte and individual fry pies. Owned and operated by a cool young couple. Check it out.

Molly and Tiffany are the sweetest people. I love that I can have coffee and play card/ board games with my son. There's a little trail by here you can take scenic walk to get some coffee. There's a river nearby too. This is the best spot if you like good music, good coffee and a relaxed setting you can chill at all day. They have a co-op too if you want to get out of the house and work from there. Love love love it here.

Howard general is an adorable little shop with amazing coffee and very friendly/attentive service. Will be stopping back here next time I'm in town for the dirty matcha and mochas. To all my schitts creek fans out there this place give off all the David Rose/Rose apothecary vibes with a splash of color. Love it! Keep killing it Howard general!

I love this little store. We spend two to three months at an RV park in Howard and we were so excited to have a place to shop. My husband's Saturday ritual is to get burritos and fried pies with his coffee. The candles and hand soaps were wonderful. Worth a visit for sure when you're in the area.

Owners are friendly and helpful. Love they're selection as well! Must check out if your from the area or just traveling through.
