Holiday Motel

Nice accommodations. Give it a try. It's on the Main Street (50) but noise is barely heard. And the price is right. I remember staying at such a place in the 70s when my parents brought our family to Colorado.

Showed up to Canon City with no plans and not a care in the world. We needed a place to lay our heads for the night and were immediately attracted to the neon sign shining in the dusk. Walked right in to the office and despite multiple festivals going on that weekend were shown several rooms at reasonable rates. Each room is different and themed in a certain way, so that is very cool, and NOT something you see every day. I'm cursing myself for forgetting the owner's name, but she was very nice and got us checked in in a jif. Stayed on the second floor and took a stroll over to Main Street - a pleasant 15 min walk and a straight shot. Bed was comfortable and the room was cute and clean. NO COMPLAINTS! Would recommend to anyone who likes supporting mom and pop businesses and anyone who would like to check out a unique motel that isn't just another chain.

Just look at the neon sign! My kind of mom and pop place. There's not much to choose from in Canon City. We ended up here and stayed 2 nights. The owner was very nice and she DID offer fresh towels on day 2. Room was recently remodeled Bed very comfortable. Clean. Fridge and microwave. Nice smoking area in the courtyard. Ice machine quit working while we were there. But hey it was a bargain at $60 a night. I'd definitely stay there again.

wouldnt have even given one star, but its required. very poor service. paid triple what the rooms were actually worth. no breakfast included for the price. dated rooms with squeaky everything, floors, bed, and no warm water as well. room smelt like weed. would not recommend.

This is a cute and clean motel, but if you are staying longer then one night they do not make your bed or bring clean towels. There were No light bulbs in any if the lights in our room. When we asked the front desk about fresh towels she just shrugged. Over all I would not stay here again.

Even though this is a motel our room was incredible. On New Years they only had suites left so I had no choice but to get one. Highly recommend the suites and surprisingly, it was cheaper than a regular room at an average hotel. I also like how the room came with actual Folgers coffee and not some generic brand.

Disappointed. Over priced, for cold water and hard beds with squeaky floors. The rooms reeked. A for effort though on the layout of the room and tacky decor.

One of our worst picks ever. Rotting raw chicken in the unplugged freezer, a second room only reachable by outside metal stairs. I am disabled, and the owner chose to ignore the walker carried on our car. Bathtub plumbing worked badly. NO STARS for this joint!

Room was not ready at 6pm. Owner lady was the worst, and rudest person I have dealt with. Room smelled of dog urine.

WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE, DO NOT STAY HERE.Me and my boyfriend stayed there for two nights on labor day weekend, we reserved the rooms online and used paypal to pay for them. The money was indeed taken away from my bank account and it was exactly $142.22. When arriving to the motel the lady at the front desk said she didn't have a room for us because she had over booked her motel.. but then found out she did have a room and she showed us to our room. But before that she said she had to run my card again just for the reservation confirmation and in case of mishaps towards the room when we leave (which is normal with hotels/motels) The night before we checked out I realized there were two charges on my bank account of $142.22 one from PAYPAL and one from HOLIDAY MOTEL. It was late so i decided to go to the office to talk about it the next morning when i checked out of the motel. when checking out with most respect and manner I said "I did notice two charges of $142.22 on my bank account and was wondering if one is going to cancel because thats charging me twice." she IMMEDIATELY blew up saying I'm accusing her of lying and robbing and she started to get in my face and my boyfriends face. She said she doesn't get commission from PAYPAL and that when people reserve a room online the website doesn't charge them. (BUT IT DID CHARGE ME) she then went off to say to call my bank that she couldn't do anything about it.she then kicked me out of her property and continued to yell and insult me and my boyfriend. I called paypal and lifted a dispute and paypal ran my debit card and noticed that the motel was charging me twice, and they gave me back my money.Later about 10 days later the money from paypal was in my bank account and then about 3 days after that there was a refund from the motel itself as well. but then about a month after staying at the motel i received a charge form the hotel of 142.22 again. and then again and then they gave me 142.22 back (so technically now it should of been fine, the money they took was because i did stay there the two nights) but now a month and a week after my stay this MOTEL is STILL messing in my bank account and taking out 142.22 over and over again.I have to lift a dispute with my bank account to fight it now. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT RESERVE ONLINE
