A fun and well-organized market, per usual. It is definitely more of a craft and local product market then a flea market, which I do think confused people who haven't been. That being said, I don't think anyone in Denver hasn't been based on how crowded it was when we went Saturday afternoon! We had a nice hour wandering and testing/ purchasing what we could afford. The prices on items have seriously gone up since previous years -- like $25 baby onesies and $88 knit leg warmers? Adding up those prices and the new general admission fee, I wonder if the organizers picked a space that cost more and then that tricked down to the vendor fees. All the same, it's a good eye candy time on a cold Saturday afternoon! My only real complaint was the noise. The combo of the heating fans and what seemed like an overly loud band in the back made the last few rows unbearable for walking around. The interesting but echoing location might be better left music-less.

First time at this event and my husband and I both loved it! So many local vendors selling awesome, unique, handmade goods and much to our surprise, the prices were extremely reasonable. We tried a couple of the New Belgium specialty tappings and it really added to the fun of the event. Only complaint was that brrr, it was cold in there!

Let me start by saying, I am a fan of the Flea. I love the idea and being able to buy directly from artists and vendors. I've been to the last 2 events and had a good time. This time though was a bit different.. I was a little disappointed. Like another reviewer mentioned, I'm not sure if they chose a more expensive location and thus had to charge a fee to get in, but I was not happy with that. Particularly, because the "free drink" that came with it was for cocktails only and I wasn't really in the mood to imbibe on a Sunday afternoon. The lights were really aggravating. They were low enough that there was a constant glare on your face and I felt like I needed a hat or sunglasses to keep it out of my eyes. It was pretty busy on Sunday, but it sounded like Friday and Saturday were the real crush days. The dogs.. Come on people.. I have no problem with people bringing dogs. I like dogs.. but you don't need to let your dog have a 6 ft leash walking through crowded rows so they get tangled around everyone and people have to navigate around your inconsiderate self & pet. I did buy several things.. some beautiful hand made jewelry, a couple T-shirts and hats.. but the prices were pretty high for the most part. It would be nice if perhaps some vendors with less expensive goods were courted to participate as well. I'll check out the spring flea, but I hope the selection of types of vendors expands a bit to include more affordable options.

Cool place with awesome local businesses. It is a very trendy-hipster style flea market without the haggling and pressure to buy stuff. I got some really awesome christmas presents for family and friends and it wasn't your typical gift, but I know the people recieveing them will love it.
