My love language: Summer Farmer's Markets!!It's been my goal to visit a different market each time - and most recently, we ventured to Highlands Farmer's Market! It did not disappoint!Pro's:++ Located in the heart of the Highlands!++ 3 extended blocks of vendors galore!++ Surrounding businesses are open and welcoming to all for a bite to eat, AC break or to simply take a seat!++ TONS of vendors - offering a variety of offerings! Everything from fresh fruit and veggies, clothing, baked bread, jewelry, and other small businesses!++ Dog and pet friendly!Con's:-- Parking is a bit of a nightmare - just be prepared to walk to the market.-- It's crowded - meaning filled with folks and their pups - but relax and take it all in!I'll definitely return!

Amazing farmers market with a great number of vendors and they are all amazing. It is about three blocks long and it didn't feel overcrowded at all. Definitely check it out!

One of my favorite places to go on Sunday mornings. They have so many great options of fresh produce, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, flowers and more. They often have live music too. They added more booths this year too! I highly recommend New friends breakfast sandwiches, traditional French crepes, pandemic donuts, Morton Orchards, and more!

I love this farmers marketI go nearly every Sunday. It runs from morning til afternoon and it is a great place to go by yourself, on a date, or with family. There are seemingly an endless amount of vendors here. The atmosphere is lively on a sunny day with dogs and music and performances all around. I always stop by the New Friends Breakfast sandwich tent to pick up a delicious breakfast sandwich with sausage and a maple mayo. There are a ton of produce vendors if you're looking for veggies and I recommend the bakeries to pick up a loaf of bread. Things are a bit more expensive here so be sure to treat yourself to one to two things during your visit. And its easy to go overboard haha.

This was nice to go too today, this was also located in the Northside, my bad, I mean The Highlands, lol. This was nice to go too, not sure how many more weekends this will be on for. There were a lot of venders from local food, to locally made items. My wife purchased some dog treats for our fur babies, and some eucalyptus plants, all the bendy were very friendly, and courteous. Again, like a previous post, the parking is limited, so you may have to drive around for a little bit. It's probably best to take a small car for parking, unless your like myself and make the mistake and take our full-size truck, lol. If your looking for something to do on a weekend, this is a cool farmers market to check out.

Not sure how such a venue has so few reviews but I'll be happy to add my own to the short list already present. This market has everything you'll want from Farmers market (in Denver or anywhere else); fresh produce, sweets, local honey, apparel, fire-roasted chile stands; you name it and it's here. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but if you're patient and traverse the neighborhoods then you'll be able to find some within walking distance.

The Highlands Farmers Market is pretty awesome. There is plenty of street parking nearby, so you can find yourself a spot and walk on over. The market takes up a couple of blocks on Lowell, so there are plenty of stands for you to peruse while you stroll through. They always have multiple food trucks, which is one of my favorite things about the market. It's usually a struggle to decide what truck to order from....today it was a battle between The Pasty Republic and The Veggie Whisperer. Spoiler alert, both ended up winning! No losers! Most people were respectful and followed the rules by wearing masks as they went through the market today. I only saw a couple people that didn't think the mask rule applied to them. Another great thing about the market - it is dog friendly*, so you can bring your pup along and spot plenty of other dogs as you walk around! Overall, pretty fun market with a nice variety of booths and food trucks, that is worth checking out! *dog disclaimer that probably doesn't apply to many. If you have a white dog, beware...I don't know what is different about the pavement on Lowell, but it will stain your dogs fur like no other. I made the mistake of letting my white dog walk around with me last year, and she took some sitting breaks while I looked at booths. By the time we left, her paws and butt were stained black from the pavement, and required a bath ASAP. So, if you want to save yourself from immediately giving your dog a bath, you may want to carry your dog around, or leave them at home. I am now the crazy lady that carries her dog around the farmers market.

As a resident of The Highlands in Denver, I eagerly await the farmer's market our neighborhood has each Sunday during the late spring, throughout summer, and early fall. My fiancé and I grab the dog and our reusable bag and off we go to stock up on produce and other goodies for the week. Our strategy is to make one pass through to see who has what and enjoy the samples. We find ourselves at the food trucks to grab breakfast, sometimes sit at one of the tables that's provided and listen to the musicians that sometimes play, then fill our bags! There's organic booths, the fill a bag full of produce for $10 booth, flowers, organic meats, jellies, salsas, breads, pet booths- you name it! We have recently transitioned from Cherry season to peach season (I love both!). This market is big enough to warrant a trip even if that includes a bit of a drive, but it's not super overwhelming like some markets where you feel cramped. There's plenty of parking on close by residential streets, but be respectful of residents (like me!). While you're in the area, make your visit extra worthwhile and visit the local shops, breweries and restaurants, too! What a fun way to spend a Sunday!
