High Sky Adventures

We went (tandem) skydiving for the first time with High Sky Adventures. it was both safe and thrilling! A fantastic experience for adrenaline junky first timers. Absolutely stunning views before jumping as well.

We were here last weekend for a bachelor party and we had such a great time! It was my first jump and they made me feel comfortable and welcome. The training was excellent and very memorable. I felt like everybody there knew what they were doing and that I was in good hands.That alone would be worth the 5 stars, but honestly it was the community that really sold me here. As a club, there are a lot of people that come in to stay in the hangar or show up first thing in the morning to hang out, talk and jump out of airplanes. It felt more like being at a friend's house than an airport. They even provided dinner and breakfast for the hungry only asking for a donation to the kitchen fund. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I can't wait to return!

Great place to skydive. I researched all of the local dropzones when I decided to skydive in 2010, and picked High Sky because of the way they operated, and how friendly they were.They are a skydiving club, not a regular commercial operation. I was amazed at how friendly they were when I went for my first jump. They fully prepared me with training that night. We had food and watched a bunch of skydiving videos before we slept in the hanger, and jumped the next morning.The jump was amazing. The scenery is beautiful and I was instantly hooked on skydiving. I did a static line jump, so it was just me and the birds up in the air. The owner guided me down via radio, and I Was met by other members of the club once I landed.I love this sport and I love this club. They have safety in mind, and won't let you jump if they don't think you're ready. They want to get you hooked on the sport. They don't act like most other dropzones and just get you on a tandem and out of their hair. They really care, and that's why they rock.

What a great place and experience. It's a communal sky dive club. You are taught by your jump master. They drill the skills in you need and are really chill people. Spend the night in the hanger and have a beer with the staff. They provide all your meals. What an awesome experience!!!

The staff at High Sky Adventures were incredibly professional. This was my first time jumping solo and the training was thorough and I felt very prepared. The experience from start to finish was comfortable, fun and memorable. Not to mention that this is the best deal you can find anywhere in CO. Definitely going back!

I've been been here 3 times and it's always an awesome experience. Skip is an experienced veteran pilot and jump master and has many thousands of jumps under his belt. You can tell his calm demeanor puts everyone at ease. This is more like a skydiving club than a purely commercial venture, and you can tell everyone here has a passion for the sport and works together to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. Theres non eof the gotchas and the hyper selling of pictures and video like at other adventure places. Video of your jump is free! Just bring a usb drive. If you forget they'll sell you one for cheap. We did the first time skydiving class the night before and camped at a campground nearby. Thry have a little communal kitchen where they have some hot food prepared, you are welcome to grab a quick dinner or breakfast and a theres a jar to chip in to the kitchen fund, or you can bring your own food. You jump by yourself, not in tandem, but on a static line, for your first 5 or 6 skydives. Incredibly fun and affordable.

This place is amazing. Everyone there is so incredibly knowledgeable about the sport. Our first jump class was taught by Rodney and Skip, who both ensured you had every bit of knowledge about parachuting. you were prepared for anything that could go wrong (even though it didn't) this is the only place I've heard of where you can do your first jump solo. the class was 4ish hours, but it was all worth it. I can't wait to go back and keep jumping!

I'm SO happy I did this the whole crew is amazing and very supportive and informative for a solo dive! I'm going agine! Definitely recommending to anyone!... cuz I was scared shittles but im doing it again and so happy with the turn out! If I make this a hobby they will be faimly!

I bought the Groupon deal with a co-worker for the static line jump. We had an AMAZING time!! Everyone was so laid back. The people there love the sport and would rather make skydivers than money. Their hospitality was awesome since you most likely will have to sleep there to jump in the morning. The class was fun and interactive. They really teach you safety! The guys teaching the class were funny and lighthearted. The jump itself was incredible and I can't stop thinking about doing it again. My co-worker and I will be down in the next month to make our second jump.
