High Plains Food Store

All gas pumps were available. There is no restroom (even for customers!) so we had to make another stop elsewhere.

Horrible women at the front desk/owner. So rude would not make eye contact. Had obnoxious sign ...She was unwilling to give change for the car wash next door.

I would give negative stars but I was completely discriminated against. (most likely because of my tattoos and not looking country enough for them) was inside browsing grabbing stuff to buy and old lady with shoulder length hair was like " maam you cant scan everything in this store" and I told her "uhm I'm looking at stuff" and she goes "you can't take pictures with your phone" and I'm like "uhm I'm on my PayPal I'm not even taking pictures" (even showing her the phone" and she looks over her glasses like a teacher and goes "the whole time?" and turns to the other customer. I was dumbfounded as to how rude this old bih was and I put my stuff down and left while she was looking me up and down. if I could get negative stars I would. she's lucky I didn't go off on her dumba** and that I was more mature than her at 28 years old and walked away. never in my life have I ever been eyeballed like i was some type of dam spy. old chick needs to retire or something. shop doesn't even deserve to be open because of people like her. learn some respect and mind your business you're not my mother and what I do on my phone is my god dam business understand ?!

High Plains Food Store is the worst store ever! Owner is rude and has a personality of a rock. Food is expired and I hope you don't need to use the restroom as they will NOT let you use it. Don't waste your time stopping there.

While on vacation, we stopped in for gas. While filling up, my husband went inside to ask where the restrooms were located. Very rude, sarcastic clerk pointed to the door on her right with the comment of read the sign. She suggested we use the trees across the street. Guess she was having a bad day. She really should consider another line of employment. Will never return to this place again and I will make sure everyone in our area knows about her.
