High Grade Foods Jamaican Restaurant

Yes and Yes! This place deserves at least 5 stars for flavor alone! Now this is no upscale, highbrow restaurant with servers in a curated selection of gray and white server attire but it is better. The staff are friendly and down to earth, the decor is all things Jamaica with the colors of the flag painted on the walls. This is your casual dining but good for an early date night that is not too bougie. Now the food. I went with a friend from Australia who has never had Jamaican food and she was sad this place could not be in her home area. She said Australians don't know what they are missing. But now she does... haha ! My friend got the Jerk Chicken Platter and chicken patty. I got the Oxtail and beef patty! Yessssss! I tried both and this was some of the best Jamaican food I've eaten. Clean, large portions, all the right flavors, and in a comfortable environment. Highly recommended and Australian friend approved! lolKeep doing what you all are doing!

This was the only Jamaican spot I saw in my week trip so I was excited to try. The restaurant is clean and the server was nice. Food took forever to come out but it did come out super hot.First I tried a beef patty which was really good and lots of filling.For starters we order the jerk chicken wings. The sauce was absolutely delicious, however the wings itself were way over and charred (burned) in most spot which made them super bitter. The wings or sauce didn't have any heat to it at all.And for main I had the curry chicken with rice and peas. Not bad not great. The chicken itself was very salty.We also order the escovish snapper fillet with the baked Mac and cheese. The fish was overly fried and was dry. The Mac and cheese were really good.Overall they have a few hit and miss. You can give them a try if you want to try something new in the area.

Went with my sons for first time Thursday evening, first thing that strikes you on entering is how clean it is! Glass tables with colorful pictures underneath help contribute to the clean feeling. There is a small bar but we grabbed a table that comfortably sat the three of us.Service was prompt and we ordered Jerk Pork, Oxtail and lamb curry. Our favorite was the oxtail, which was full of flavor. Plantains are always a go to, and they did not disappoint. The Jerk Pork had a nice kick but was not overly spicy and the lamb curry was tasty and comforting.I ordered the Jamaica Irish Moss peanut which was wonderful.Well worth a visit and this restaurant is now added to my list of places to take people visiting the Springs.

A phenomenal Jamaican Restaurant!! I have eaten there multiple times, and it's always a Five Star experience. I am a world traveler, and believe me, this is some of the finest, authentic Jamaican food I've ever had!! The chef and staff are incredible people, and the restaurant is always impeccably clean.

The food and service are excellent! We ordered the ox tail and coconut shrimp, both we flavorful and authentic as can be. Our must-stop every time we're in the Springs.

When we need a little taste of Jamaica we come here! My son loves the seafood curry, & Johnny cakes. I love the braised oxtails with plantains. And my husband orders everything else on the menu! You can tell the owner/cook cooks from the soul. When we miss the Caribbean, it's always nice stepping in the restaurant and feeling the good vibes again. Plus, the waitress there is so playful & sweet.

If I could give a hundred stars it still would not suffice. Yaow!!! I gave up hope on finding stellar Jamaican food in these contiguous United States of America. Non-greasy ackee and saltfish, well seasoned, flaky patties, freshly baked, soft, and lightly buttered coco bread, nicely flavored cabbage. Staff went above and beyond to provide us with goodies for the rest of our road trip. Out of all the Jamaican restaurants we've visited, this one takes the cake. I wish you all continued success!
