If you think you're lost or lost signal somehow, just keep going. The road will lead you directly to the parking lot where the falls are located. It's a really pretty waterfall with the manmade bridge up at the top. Not many people know of this place so it wasn't crowded when we went. I would not call this a hike. It's pretty well paved and you walk up some stairs to see the waterfall from above. It's an easy walk up if you don't have any problems walking uphill or up stairs. But if you're looking for a real hike, this is not it. This is great to take people who don't like hiking but want to experience and be surrounded by nature. Definitely different from the well talked about Garden of the Gods.

It's an easy walk to the top, mostly all uphill. There's an overlook at the top and a ton of well kept trails all over, but I didn't see any maps. There were also trails running alongside the water as it made it's way down the mountain. I enjoyed the drive and the views as well.

Another beautiful hiking trail in Colorado Springs. Helen Hunt Falls has great view of the waterfall and views of the nice mountain scenery. Trails is easy to hike for any age and dogs as well. Perfect place for a photo op for any occasions. Trail is a bit narrow and it was not to over crowded the time I went. I went during the late afternoon, weather was cooler since the sun was coming down. Plenty of parking spots and they have porta potty. No admission fees for this trail. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Update Alert: ITS COLD ! I thought coming here after a snow day would be nice to see the falls in all it's grandness. Sad face :( it was just 4 star beautiful , not 5 star Gorgeous. Same amount of people as a Summer Sunday. That was not an issue for me. People are still distancing and wearing mask. Remember to bring leashes foryour pets . Just wanted to give a small update to those who also wondered if it was like a crazy waterfall after a good snow day. I think that would probably be at 7 Falls. Not sure about 7 falls cause I'm too cheap to pay to find out ;)

Great visitor center and bridge over the falls. A couple dozen steps will get you to the bridge and you can continue to climb from there. Stop in to learn about Helen Hunt - not the actress

This was option #2 on our way out of town. (The zoo was sold out-Covid keeps us flexible in our planning) The drive up the mountain is a bit challenging due to people parked on the side, plus walkers, plus bikers, plus my mom-mobile. Knuckles tightly on the wheel as you keep your eyes open for a parking spot. I think I'm the only one who has never heard of this place. Busy, busy! This was a beautiful spot to absorb the beauty of the mountains with just a short hike up the stairs to the top. We did get caught in a rainstorm on the way down, which made for a slippery decent, but definitely added to the memories. I'd like to explore this park more when I have more time and less children attached. We were happy our #1 was changed to #2.

We ventured up the mountain and went straight to the bottom of these falls. Great if you want to see some nature without any hiking or climbing. You can even drive by it and see it - if you cannot find any parking (which they do have minimal spaces for)...

So my family dropped by the falls today. As I'm helping my son out of the car, a sweet teenage girl hands me a small sprig of blue flowers and tells me to have a blessed rest of my day. I'm thinking this is refreshing to see a teenager spreading positivity. We immediately walk into the office/cafe/whatever the heck that building is used for. I never had a second to figure it out because another teenager, this one an employee, beelines it for me as I walk in. "Just so you know, you can't pick the flowers here. We don't allow it." I promptly told her I didn't pick them, someone blessed me with them and I have no idea where she got them. As a side note, I didn't see any of these particular flowers in the parking lot or on the "trail". "Well, just so you know," was her rude response. Leave it to this rude little girl to take a sentiment so sweet and ruin it. I get they don't want people picking them, but don't assume. I'd say it "makes an ass out of u and me" as the old saying goes, but it was she that was looking like an ass, both by her rude assumptions and that fish hook she had sticking out of her mouth. I guess she called it a lip ring. Very unprofessional looking. More to the point of the falls, it hardly pays off for the narrow, winding drive and lack of parking. I definitely would not call it a hike unless you count taking 12 minutes to follow 4 older ladies in their 80's climbing a dozen or so steps. I've visited all 48 lower states and a few other countries. Despite being all the way from Georgia, my family has traveled through Colorado Springs 3 times in the past 6 years. NEVER will I go back there. I guess that's one less parking spot someone will have to fight over.
