Happy Tap

This place is a hidden gem! Literally! The crowd is always friendly and easy to make friends that are local to the neighborhood or beyond, Christian is the best bartender on the west side and if you get get a chance to meet him, consider your self lucky

Nice place to stop by and have a beer. Good selection of beers. Plus, they serve a few wines for those who may not drink beers. Lots of TVs, games, and sitting areas. Everyone here is very friendly, staff is very cool. Well behaved pets are allowed. Outdoor sitting available as well. Might be a bit hard to find. If coming from the south, turn right after Little Nepal restaurant. If coming from the north, turn left right before Little Nepal Restaurant. It looks more like a parking lot than a street. Definitely worth the trip.

Happy Tap is a cool little neighborhood joint. They have a great selection of craft beer, ranging from Colorado's "Station 26" and California's "Firestone Walker". Staff was very friendly. They did free growlers for medical and first-responder folks is how I heard about Happy Tap. Wish Happy Tap was located in my neighborhood. Seeing that it's not, it'll be a nice place to go after work.

Here early in a Saturday afternoon. Not too many people, however nice relaxing place. Very good selection of beers and wine. The food truck today is The Prospector's Cart. Excellent Elk burger and loaded chips. Nice little outdoor area where you can sit, chat and hang out. I will be back.

At first I was disappointed that Smiling Toad moved but Happy Tap is an excellent replacement. Great selection of local and national beers. Fun place to watch the game. And like it's predecessor a good place to hang with the family and the dog. No kitchen but they often have a food truck out front.

Definitely hidden, upon arrival we were not greeted in any way. Looked like they had some fun stuff (pool table, shuffleboard, tvs). But stood at bar (it was slow) to get close as menu beer board was hard to read. Still bartender did not acknowledge us. He then left went to back room, came out and removed a sign over one of the selections still no acknowledgement so I said hello!. Then he proceeded to help us, 1st taster was the 10 % ipa (something tasted wrong), tried another ipa (watered down). Said we couldn't find something we liked, bartender seemed to careless. We frequent breweries across the country, this one probably won't be back.

they put a $20 hold on cards, just a heads up. would be nice if they told you that. now you know, just in case you were wondering why you have a $20 hold for 1 drink and a tip equaling half that

Great beer, great selection, great knowledgeable staff! Great music with neighborhood feel. Welcoming crowd with sports bar atmosphere! The beers available right now are award winning and limited time only.

Amazing place to watch the game! Dan, Sav and Puga are great bartenders. The owner Bret was drafted by the Pirates and his dad Barry earned two rings with the 49ers. By far the coolest sports bar in town. It feels like the TV show cheers.
