Beer on tap was only $4 a pour and they offered two IPAs, a German (maybe wheat), and Mexican lager. I say offered because they ran out of Mexican lager, but it worked out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can sit inside a railcar or outside. I didn't try the food, but they had a burger and beer combo for like fifteen bucks. If you are riding the train, you can pregame here while you wait to board.

Repurposing a caboose for a coffee shop is brilliant, especially since it's right next to the Royal Gorge Train station. Happy Endings is so cute both inside and out. Unfortunately, that's where my positivity ends. My family came in 20 minutes after they opened and nothing was ready. Our order was incorrect and luke warm, also no ice for iced drinks. With the first train of the day leaving at 9am, knowing they would be getting costumers early, I was expecting more. That being said, that doesn't mean it's this way always, this just happens to be my experience.

It was ok coffee, the staff was really friendly and helpful though. We might go back if we're in the area and try a hamburger or something.

This is a cute concept (housed in a caboose) but the meals lack quality. The ideas are good, end product not so much. Coffee was great, staff friendly and a nice location if you're riding the train.

I had a VERY delicious cinnamon roll and latte. The cinnamon roll was very delicious and the icing was the cherry on top! The food came out quickly and the server was very friendly. I love the feel of the cafe if you're sitting inside or outside you're destined to enjoy your meal! Totally recommend!

This is a great place to have a bite to eat before boarding the Royal Gorge train. It is next to the station and is based in a caboose with an outdoor dining area. My wife and I split the adult grilled cheese with chips and it was just enough for us. It is adjacent to the tracks and we were able to see the train as it arrived. I think that we would go for lunch even if we were not there to ride the train. Looking forward to a return visit soon

When we saw "Happy Endings" on this little orange caboose while awaiting our train ride we thought it was kind of a joke (wink wink), but were very happy to find out it was a real place to see it had food and drinks. If I'd have known that it had such a large menu I may have skipped breakfast. It is tiny inside but I was truly amazed by the large menu. They have a lot of options (see photos), including ice cream with liquor in it. What the what! I opted for black truffle chips (I've never seen them before) and they were so good! My cousin and I had a mimosa and a mimini and they were also really good. The next time I am taking a ride on the Royal Gorge Railroad I will absolutely be eating here.

Let me start by saying that I love trains so any opportunity I have to have a bite and a beverage by one, I'll take it! This place is cute and I loved hearing Sinatra playing while the train was getting ready to leave the station! I will just get into the pros and cons!ProsRight by the Royal Gorge Train Station so you can see the trains departing and arrivingCute with nice outdoor seating and music playingNice choices on the menuFriendly staffCute Gift ShopNice flavor on their Chai TeaConsBeverages were warm not hotCrepes lacked flavor and were cold - a savory crêpe is typically warmNo indoor seatingPricey - definitely not trying to appease the localsThis little café is owned by the Royal Gorge Railway. We expected their crêpes to be more flavorful as the dinner we had on the murder mystery train was good. It can't be growing pains as they've been open since August. I think it's just that nobody has told them that their food is not very good. Hopefully with my first review, that will make them aware! It's still a cool place to hang out when it's not too cold outside and next time we will just ask for our beverages to be extra hot! Come for the nostalgia and hopefully they'll improve their food!

Could be way better for the price. Egg sausage sandwich was good and great size. Bloody Mary was decent, no garish as it stated on menu. It's just over priced.
