Hampden Library

Love this library. The staff are super helpful and really friendly. It's clean and well organized, and they've got some great displays for books and art. Support your local library!!

love the rotating decor and "exhibits" at this location. great selection of books at this location but denver library makes holds and pickups extremely easy!!also, their idealab was very easy to walked in and find the tools i needed and even find assistance when i needed help.

This location is a small to medium sized library in the Denver metro area. It has that cozy small town library feel with its warm earth tone colors and it's quiet little study nooks, but also having features that are relevant to today's library patrons such as an Idea Lab and self check out stations. I also liked the display at the front entrance and the mural by the front door. I'll be coming back to this location more often.

I love being so close to a library! They have a great selection of books, but also allow you to place holds online and then transfer the book for you from other Denver County libraries. It's a surprisingly fast process and has allowed me to read a bunch of books I normally wouldn't have. I currently have about 20 books on hold and can't wait to dig in!

Great small neighborhood library! You can order books online and then get an email when they are ready to be picked up.The staff is so friendly and helpful.Self checking out books is really easy and convenient!

Can I just say how excited I am to live within walking distance of a library? My kids and I walked over here on Saturday and spent a joyous afternoon. The Hampden branch is a smaller library but it is very cozy and has a lot to offer. We moved from Douglas County so we needed to get new library cards and I am happy to say that the librarian who helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did he take care of our new cards, but he also made sure we had all of the information about their upcoming events since we are new to the neighborhood. The excellent customer service was greatly appreciated. This library has a great children's section with plenty of books to choose from as well as puzzles, games, and toys. My kids really enjoyed looking at books and then building with the Lincoln Logs. They also had a great time playing the educational games on the library computers. The computers in the children's area were perfect for their little hands and minds! I am thrilled to have such a great little library so close to us, we will definitely be frequent visitors!

A gem of a library, with a huge array of movies and an easy process for requesting items from other branches. My one critique is that some of the longtime employees are not very friendly--I've been coming here once a week for two years and some of them rarely respond when I say hello. That aside, the Hampden Library is a fantastic place to browse and discover new books and films.

Libraries are so useful. This one is just the same. Is it the biggest? No. Is it the nicest? No. However, there is nothing wrong with this location. It has DVDs, CDs, tons of books, lots of study material, and nice staffers. It's clean and relatively low key at all times. I get my books and GRE material here with no problem at all. I like it. This is my library until I leave Denver.

This neighborhood spot is top-notch! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there is a wide range of useful literature, activities, and programs available for everyone. I visit during weekdays for some study time, and my little one and I come by on weekends. It's a hit with her too!
