It was a Sunday night and we had just visited Pike's Peak, riding the Cog Railway. We didn't want to miss the Copa America final, so we Yelped the sports bars in the Colorado Springs area. Two stood out: Wyatt's and Guthrie's. We drove to Guthrie's first. The navigation on the rental car screwed up, so I turned on the navigation on Yelp. That wasn't perfect either, so I called the number and found out that I was in the right area. (Trust the navigation; just drive a little farther than it tells you.) There's plenty of parking in the front and in the back. The darkest beer is Guinness in a can; probably the only fault is that there's no local dark on tap.We sat down near a television screen that was broadcasting the soccer game, and the bartender came by to see what we wanted to drink. I asked him my usual question: "What's darkest beer you have?"He brought over the menu cards. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger (wife rates 5/10) and a crunchy chicken salad (9/10). I also ordered curly fries (thin! 7/10). It was a Sunday night, so the place was sparse. There were a few people at the counter and one man out on the patio. There was a digital jukebox playing music, but in the background. The bartender came by often to check on us. We ordered extra water and I asked him to warm up my curly fries. He was very friendly and accommodating.I read this place being described as a "dive bar." It could be. One patron did call another outside, but nothing happened beyond that. Maybe if it weren't Sunday night . . . .

Stopped by to catch the Colts game and opted for steak and eggs from the Sunday brunch menu. Good was good, but the service was impeccable. They put the Colts on for me, they checked several times to make sure my food was good, and I was thanked by name with a handshake to boot. Little things make a big difference.

I've been a local patron of this bar for over a decade and it's the best spot in town. Total dive bar with affordable drinks! Awesome service with a smile and they will take great care of you. Food is available but won't blow you away. Used to have the best patio in town but now has some stupid cover on it. KILLER view of Pikes Peak. Saw the review with proud boys and I was there that day lol we started the "issue" so they wouldn't feel welcome and they've not been back. Used to be pretty gnarly on the inside but totally renovated. Restrooms always well maintained (unless you just drank too much) new front Door, flooring, Ceiling tiles, bar top, stools/chairs, tables and TVs!! Several TVs with sports on! THIS PLACE DOESN'T SHOW PPV can't say enough great thing about this local hit!!!!!!!

We like going out to cool little dive bars, this on is real close to home and have always had a good experience, until tonight. I really hope they don't let it become a hang out for fascists. The Proud Boys were there, started causing problems. We left. Don't want to hang at a place like that. Bummer too as they put some money into making it nice. But fascists??? Uhhh no thanks.

I stumbled across this place and it's a real gem. The owners, the staff and the patrons are all so friendly. It's got a real neighborhood vibe too with families just hanging out, drinking a beer. It's going to be my 'local' each time I'm in town. Love it, but don't tell everybody ;)

Staff was nice, beer was good and reasonable, wings were burnt. I would go there to get a beer, but I would go somewhere else to get food.

Food was amazing here. However the server with black hair was beyond rude. we sat at the table top for 8 minutes before making myself known that I wanted to order. My food was all wrong but the owner Andrea was able to pick up her slack. The guy next to us didnt know what kind of beer he wanted so she told him "I'm not going to pick your beer, you're a grown man". The poor man didn't even know what to drink. She was so rude to other customers and never acknowledged us. Id come back to this bar but she's gotta go. The owner Andrea had to check her a few times to stop being rude to customers. Over all, good food, cool vibes, but not a cool bartender.

First time going. Definitely a local place. Very friendly service and the wings/tots were very good. If you are looking for a bar place to go that's quiet and good food/not overly expensive, I'd suggest it! Wings were very good. Beer was nice and cold. Place was clean.
