My coworkers and I were wanting to try some Indian food, and we found Gurkhas online. They had good reviews so we were excited to try! The restaurant was empty when we showed up, but just walking into the building we were hit by the most delicious smells! Our waitress was very kind and helpful. I got the chicken vindaloo, and it was so good! It was gluten and dairy free, and once paired with rice, I was a happy camper. All of my coworkers agreed that Gurkhas was a great choice for dinner!

Great Indian food and hospitality. I have eaten in and taken to go and they are always very nice. Clean and professionally run business but has a family feel to it.

Pros: complimentary chai and naan, lots of vegetarian and meat options, good price for buffet, lunch and dinner buffet options. Plus points for the various chutneys accompanying the samosas. Cons: meats were all chicken dishes, dishes could be spicier. Gurkhas is a clean and appealing restaurant offering AYCE Indian buffet options for lunch and dinner. Veg dishes I tried: Dal makhani, saag with paneer, veg korma, veg stir fry Meat dishes: butter chicken and tandoori chicken All the dishes I tried were fresh and flavorful albeit a little bland for my pallete, but the price and service was top notch. I'll be back for sure!

Overall (D)This place is not good. The food during the lunch buffet was watered down "Indian" food. The positive reviews have got to be from individuals who have not been to an Indian restaurant before. Honestly if this is what passes for decent Indian food - I will open up a place in Colorado Springs. Food (D)It was bad. The chutneys were watered down. Naan took forever to come out and was average and the food - ehhh. Yes it was edible but not memorable. The only thing I will remember is literally throwing up after ward. Yes I am not making this up. But threw up the mango dessert. The "tandoor" chicken was not. All the items were flavorless. Look I am not trying to be an Indian food snob. I really like Americanized Indian food and I have found my share of gems in small towns. This food is just not good. Yes it's a buffet and they had a decent selection. But just not a good one. Even the samosas had a weird taste. Service (C+)Typical old school Indian restaurant service. Staff is untrained and slow. I feel bad for them because they have not been set up to succeed. But it is what it is. The naan took forever to come out and of course all the tables got it at once. The lady is nice and pleasant but the guy is a bit of a weirdo. Value (B+)So it is only $15.99 so it is cheap and if they improved the quality of food they could charge $19.99. But the food was bad. So I'm conflicted. I guess what should I expect? So maybe this is my fault. I guess it's like going to a Chinese buffet and being disappointed. So I'm never going there again and I would strongly recommend anyone who does to try other Indian places. There has to be better options. Even for buffet. It can't be this bad. I am kicking myself for wasting all those calories on such crappy food.Avoid this place at all costsIt is not a 4/5 more like a 2/5

The whole experience was amazing. After reading some reviews I was skeptical however I decided to try it anyways, and boy am I glad I did. The servers were amazing, kind, and attentive! Everything I tried (which was basically everything on the buffet) was GREAT! Trust me you will not regret coming here. I can about 10 mins after them opening and everything was hot and fresh. Will be back!!!

This place is decent. It's about $20 for the buffet. There are a couple of different chicken dishes, lamb, and some vegetarian options and soups. A small vegetable selection and free chai. The service is friendly and accommodating, and the booths are cozy and clean. That being said, the lamb was extremely gamey, and the yellow rice tasted gamey as well. It was almost as if the lamb fat was cooked into it. This gave the rice an off-putting flavor, almost stinky. There is white rice as an option next to it, I recommend instead. The naan bread was fresh and hot and very tasty. All in all, I would visit again. The chicken was quite good and the chai tea was very good!
