Came to green granite for a small bathroom remodel. Not many companies will be in the market to sell you remnants for a one sink countertop...so it's a bit challenging when one wants to remodel a...one sink bathroom. Unfortunately, not every bathroom grants for two sinks, nor has the surface area to allow for them. So here lies the pickle. Companies think the money they will make from a small counter won't be sufficient for their time and you are stuck with a pre-fabricated counter from a big box improvement store that is a dime a dozen. I knew that GAG would be open to a one sink because an acquaintance has used them for hers. So off we went to their yard. They were very busy and for a good long 30 minutes no one even acknowledged that we were there, which was a miss because they could have quickly asked us what we were in for and sent us out to peruse their yard while we waited. But we are not easy triggered so we just stood and waited. Finally we were helped by Vida and she was pretty nice. She took us out to the yard and showed us our options. I pretty much knew before getting to GAG exactly what I wanted (fairly uniform gray quartz) so we were able to make our selection quickly. We choose our slab, she marked it we paid for half of the job and left. A week or so later they were ready to cut the slab (they had come to the house to draw an exact template first) but when they washed the slab and laser templated it they realized there were some imperfections on it that they did not feel comfortable with. Quartz is very soft so a tiny fissure can turn into a full crack or break with a small amount of pressure. So off we go again, back to the remnant yard. I was really worried that now I would have to totally change my reno due to not finding the same color slab I had originally picked. These are remnants from big jobs, so 2 remnants of the exact same color/pattern are hard to find. However, I was in luck and we found a very similar remnant that we could use. It was a very large slab and I felt a bit guilty cutting it up for my small counter, but Vida was very nice and told me not to worry...that I needed to think about my bathroom and they'd worry about wastage. We got the counters installed and all looks great. It was not the price of a prefabricated counter to be sure, but the quality of the stone and custom look you get from a granite yard is way worth it IMO. We now have a beautiful custom bathroom that looks like a million bucks. Thanks GAG! :)

Poor measuring, poor plumbing, poor communications, won't deliver product (ordered tile to be installed by another company, would NOT deliver with granite, had to pick up tile ourselves), unable to return nearly 1/3 of unopened tile not needed due to poor measurement ("supplier doesn't take returns"), had to call repeatedly to get any response from sales rep ("didn't get the message").Sorry, can't rate lower.

We had a very small job, two seats for benches in a steam shower. We were allowed to go through the yard that we found to be easy to navigate and well organized. Eventually we found a half slab that would accommodate our needs. Renee worked with us to get it turned around in two weeks. The work was completed on time and well done. She made it possible for us to pick up the slabs on a Saturday. Renee is a credit to her employer and the work was exactly what we expected and needed.

I had an appointment booked for today at 2pm. No showed - but was told it was my fault because I did not actually "confirm" the appointment and then got hung up on. After reading these reviews, I got lucky. Moving on....

Can only speak for my husband and myself. We had excellent attention and assistance from the morning we walked into the showroom to the last day of our project. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Nathan whom we told we needed his help on everything from start to finish. We walked the yard many times. Chose a granite we liked but once inside without the sunlight the color was different. We ended up bringing one of our cabinet doors to the granite yard and held it up against several slabs one of which I thought was beautiful but never would have for my kitchen. Lo and behold a decision was made right then and there. It was Silver Waves and is a bold combination of silver, black and white. It goes beautiful with our cabinets which are a hard maple. We liked it at Green Acres because we chose EVERYTHING from them. Faucets, sinks, granite, backsplash. Speaking of backsplash the very night BEFORE the tile was scheduled for install, I backed out of the tile and color I had previously chosen. It bothered me so much I just had to call and change my decision. They were more than nice about it and we chose another style we loved. That was just a little glitch because we had to wait for the new tile we ordered to come in and then schedule that for installation. It was my decision so, we didn't mind the wait as it was well worth it in the end. They removed our gas cook top with no problems. They pulled out our refrigerator very gently and respected our appliances so there were no damages at all. They were prompt and pleasant as well as professional and very helpful as we asked questions about this or that. The Demo team consisted of Vincent, Marcus and Adrian. Polite, friendly and went to work immediately.Vince and Adrian were back the next day for the granite and plumbing. Bill was the Template expert and he was PRECISE and explained things to us which we appreciated. Austin and Juan returned to do the plumbing regarding the sinks, faucets etc. Need a shout out to Marcus. He did the trim work around the appliance garage and put a nice little detail instead of just a straight piece of trim. Was an extra mile so to speak and we so appreciated him and his trade.Last but not least... there is Nathan. He was there for every single appointment we had and even popped in to ask a question now and then on our way home and he was ALWAYS at his desk working with other clients and if that was the case, he paused to answer our question. We met Dave the owner and he was most helpful as well when questions arose that we had. We will be doing another bit of granite work, faucets and utility room work in the near future and we plan to return to Green Acres Granite when we decide on that small project. Thank you again to your staff for any and all additional help. You were referred to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. Happy with our beautiful project,Barb and Joe

If you are considering working with Green Acres Granite, please read this review first. I strongly advise against using their services or, at the very least, urge you to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly check their work at every step along the way.We contacted Green Acres in 2022 for a two-part job: the first was a kitchen counter installation, and the second was for laundry room and pantry counters. The kitchen project was completed in the summer of 2022. Green Acres assured us that they would hold our slab with a deposit (which we paid) and would be ready for the next project when we were.As the second project took much longer than expected, we called Green Acres in the summer of 2023 to confirm that our slab was still being held. During the call, we were told they no longer had our slab. We decided to drive down to Colorado Springs to check their yard ourselves to ensure it hadn't been misplaced. Upon arrival, they seemed surprised that we had made the effort to visit. We quickly located the slab, as it was the only one of its kind there (black granite, leathered, with no marbling). It was strange that they claimed they couldn't find it when it was so easy for us to spot. We attributed this to either incompetence or laziness and decided to move on. During our visit, they re-labeled the slab as "not for sale" and confirmed they would hold it for us.Fast forward to the summer of 2024, when we were finally ready for installation. Green Acres sent an employee to measure, and he was fantastic. However, on the day of installation, it became immediately clear that the granite they were installing was not ours. While the slab was black granite and leathered like ours, it had marbling and flecks of brown throughout, a different and rougher leathered texture, and was 1 3/16 inches thick, compared to our original which was 1 1/8 inches. These details may seem minor, but they are crucial when dealing with granite slabs. We contacted Ian immediately to address the issue, and it was apparent that he knew the granite wasn't ours but was unwilling to rectify the situation. He told us to "take responsibility" and claimed that the original slab "didn't have enough material for our job anyway." His immediate confirmation was shocking. If Green Acres didn't want to hold our slab while we worked through the second project, they should have communicated that clearly. Instead, we experienced a lack of basic communication skills and an alarming level of unprofessionalism. Now, we are left with the choice of either suing them at our own expense or living with countertops that don't match and ultimately aren't ours. It seems Green Acres is aware that their smaller clients may not have the resources to sue for every wrongdoing. So please, if you decide to work with this company, proceed with extreme caution.

BUYER BEWARE. We ordered countertops, signed a contract with Green Acres and paid one half down. They came and measured twice, the second time with a laser, and determined we needed 57 Sq. Ft. We received a call once the slabs came in and were told we would have to pay an additional $1300.00 because the slabs weren't as big as they thought they would be (???). We asked if the sq. ft. from the original estimate had changed and were told it had not. We still needed the same 57 Sq. Ft. When we balked at the additional cost and asked for a refund, we were told "YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT." and were required to pay a $250.00 cancellation fee. We didn't feel comfortable going forward so we paid the cancellation fee, even though no measurements changed and we had a signed contract. We are still in complete shock over the whole ordeal.

If I could give negative stars I would. We did business with them a few months ago and completely regretted it. They at first quoted us for a great price and then later up charged the price of the granite to be a whole 2000$ more than what we originally were quoted for. We asked also for sinks to be installed they uninstalled our sinks we had prior and left us with no running water in our house. Even though we paid for them to do the work. They did not. We had at least 4 pieces of granite that came cracked and all their cuts were not centered. Everything needed to be redone after they came out. They also missed a piece of granite and took 2 weeks to come back out and fix it. They dropped a couple pieces of granite cracking them and they tried to still install those pieces. Very unprofessional and shady people. Don't make the mistake we did. Go somewhere else!!
