the front of a wine and liquor store

This is a good liquor store in the Southglen area with a small but good selection of wines and liquor and a pretty decent beer cooler. They have a good range of low- to high-end bottles, and the prices aren't marked up. In fact, I see quite a bit of good sale prices when I come here. The store is pretty cramped, but they make good use of the space, and everyone who works here is very friendly and talkative to the customers. Grapes is my "go-to" spot when I need to grab a quick bottle or 6 pack.

They have everything you need. Those guys know their beer & wine info. Easy to get in and out. Great customer service. However-one of the wine gals has attitude sometimes. I really like the 10% on Saturday mid-day promo.

While Grapes & Grains doesn't offer a huge selection or discount prices, they do showcase a nice selection of quality wines and beers, including several inexpensive, yet good choices. The last time I was in the staff was giving away free cigar boxes - a nice plus!

Grapes is what a neighborhood wine and beer shop should be - offering a quality selection with a knowledgeable yet unpretentious staff. A refreshing alternative to the "big box" liquor mega-marts, grapes and grains offers a good variety of beer, wine and liquor without being overwhelming. Check it out.

They have average wine but I sure do hate when places say they close at 11 and you show up at 10:45 and the doors are locked and they are counting tills. Either change the damn hours or commit to your times

This place went to crap after the previous owners sold. Just went in there and purchased liquor. Tag was wrong as always. Employee said it was an old tag and adjusted the price but had a very rude nasty comment stating it would be the last time I get that price. I responded well maybe you should check your tags..This place is absolute crap. Stay away!!!!

We have been supporting this small business for years. Making special trips to buy there instead of the King Soopers and Keg Liquors. Which both are cheaper but we wanted to support the small guys. We've traditionally ordered several cases of wine at this time of year as Christmas gifts. Previous owners friendly, and helpful. We miss them!!! They sold. Fast forward. Last night was the end of our long standing patronage there. The place has gone to pot. Literally. The gal has waited on us multiple times, and acts as if we are interrupting her night. Last night, two people including that gal. Don't acknowledge your presence...and the two of them were so high...and if you closed your eyes you would think you're in a pot shop. Preferable. Or at any light rail station or on So Broadway. Mark my words...this place will be gone soon.

This is a great neighborhood liquor store with an incredible selection of wines and beer and spirits. Unlike the liquor store on the next block, Rite Aid's Keg Liquors, the staff knows everything about their stock and can describe and recommend if you like. The folks at Rite Aid really are not there to know anything about what they sell.
