Granite Canyon General Store

Okay so I am here frequently, Craig and Lisa are amazing ppl and really do care about their customers. So the parking situation is a matter of a lot of commerce and little parking locally. So if you are going to park and leave then you should absolutely find another spot. Also water is precious up here so if you're wanting to use the facilities then purchase something , it's not a public restroom and they need to have their septic pumped so keep that in mind ... there are a lot of ppl who want to enjoy the area and that is why we live here in Colorado Treat the area and the locals like you would anyone else...Again let me be clear.... Water is precious up here and parking is limited... Act accordingly or stay in your box in your eighborhood filled with boxes.....

Cute little shop! This was our meeting point to go ice climbing with front range climbing. my group had traveled in the car for 3 1/2 hours and we needed to use the restrooms and get a few snacks. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms were clean. There was a fairly good selection of items to choose from. We all went away with some goodies to take with us to the ice wall.I would definitely pop in again if i was passing through!

Traveling through with my husband, stopped at this shop to use the bathroom, warm up our food and grab a few snacks... bathrooms were clean but the staff was not friendly (specifically the male cashier). Basically got told that I needed to ask to use the microwave, I apologize then he proceeds to tell us of their "transaction minimum" as you can imagine I just didn't even feel welcomed at this point, I would not recommend this shop, nor would I ever stop in here again.

Stopped in to use the restroom with the kiddos but was delighted by a lovely store with really cool stuff, knowledgeable staff and an amazing view of a historical building and area. We are definitely stopping back in on our next trip. Thank you!

This used to be a great little general store till May of 2020 when the new owner took over. We've used there services for years when camping and fishing nearby, but no longer. He's more worried about patrolling his parking lot than providing service to the customer at the counter. His prices are out of control, and so is he. High prices and poor service,I won't be back
