Grand View

My daughter and I had brunch here on a snowy Sunday morning and had a fabulous time. The view cannot be beat as you looked directly out into the garden of gods. I had the salmon bagel and it was loaded with lots of lox and crisp capers. My daughter had the French toast which she said was fabulous. We will definitely be back for both the food and the view

The service was great! Our waiter was attentive and always checking up on us. I ordered the steak and frites and wife order their lamb. The steak was ok and the potatoes were cut in thick wedges. Nothing special. The lamb was a surprised. It was ground lamb smashed into a patty and fried with panko. Total miss on this one. The lobster appetizer was delicious.

Tons of reservations available. Made for 6 people at 11am on a Tuesday, booked the night before.Service was professional and patient with our two little kids. Our server had children of her own and was great with ours.Family friendly in the sense that they do have a kid's menu, but there were no other kids there, and no coloring activities available. Not surprised given the slightly more formal nature of this restaurant.$194.46 total including tax/tip for 3 drinks, 4 entrees, 1 side, and 2 kid's entrees. Pricey for ok food, but you're paying for the view which was indeed gorgeous.* Chopped Cobb Salad ($17) - 4 starsAmple blue cheese, ranch, and bacon. Could have used a little more lettuce as it was pretty intense. * Sauteed Trout ($34) - 3.5 starsThe yucca root purree and spiced sunburst squash were amazing. The trout was well done, and personally I like mine a little pink in the middle, and I couldn't really taste the chili-lime glaze. * Kid's Rotini/Hot Dog ($10/$12) - 3 starsVery basic meals; the hot dog and bun were quite big.* Rotini Alla Vodka ($25)No rating as I didn't try this, but just noting that this dish had the exact same volume of pasta as the $10 Kid's Rotini. Of course, this had nicer toppings, but perhaps not fifteen dollar's more of toppings.

This meal was completely unforgettable!We were lucky enough to snag a table outside with the stunning views of Garden of the Gods at sunset.I didn't expect the food to be good, given that it doesn't have to be to bring in tourists with the view it has, but it was spectacular. The pasta Provençal blew my mind: the noodles were made from scratch, and the tomatoes marinated in tremendous garlic, butter and seasoning. The filet mignon was also perfectly cooked and hardly needed a butter knife to cut. Cocktail and wine menu are extensive as is the dessert menu. Service was excellent: staff cared a lot that we were happy and enjoying ourselves.

My friend and I hiked around Garden of the Gods, then searched for a nearby restaurant. We had never heard of either Grand View or the Garden of the Gods Resort and Spa, but what an amazing find! (And yes, I found them on Yelp). If you are in the area, I highly recommend Grand View Dining Room, if for no other reason, the view is AMAZING! We would have stayed all afternoon, if we could.Service was lovely and food was both tasty and reasonably priced. But the view. Oh my! Check out Grand View if you haven't already. You will NOT be disappointed!

Great ambiance. Amazing staff and service. Very professional. We had a wonderful time enjoying the resort view, although our reservation was at 7 pm and the sun was already down so remember to consider that if you'd like a sunset view. I got the lamb and it wasn't what I expected but it was better! Sides and drinks were also great. My husband got the steak & frites and he enjoyed those as well. Would definitely come back again.

Absolute greatness. The best dining setting outside The Broadmoor. An amazing wine selection, Grand View can be enjoyed with or without a boozy infusion. The majesty of America's Mountain framed by Garden of the Gods makes this one of the top five picturesque settings open to the public for dinner in the United States.

Staying at the resort and enjoyed many fantastic breakfasts, lunches and dinners. One of the very best steaks I've ever had and our family owned steakhouses, so that says something as we know good steak! Scallops were perfectly cooked as well. Also loved the buttery sole meunière. They have delicious salads and I highly recommend the green goddess or summer salad. Service is very friendly and efficient and you can't beat the stunning views of the Garden of the Gods.

My boyfriend made dinner reservations to celebrate my birthday during our Colorado Springs trip. Located inside Garden of the Gods Hotel, the Grandview offers dramatic views of the stand stone rock formations. We requested to sit outside to admire the view. The Grandview was recently remodeled and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent. Our waitress Stacey was friendly, attentive and such a pleasure. She went above and beyond to explain the menu options and made recommendations. I cant forget to also mention our host, Mickey who was friendly and seated us upon our arrival. We ordered the half roasted chicken. The meat was tender and juicy- 10/10. The mushrooms and mashed potatoes were amazing. The Denver steak was made to perfection. I ordered the cucumber blossom cocktail, which was very good and strong. Also had a glass of white wine, i just can't recall which one. Our experience was top notch, service was five-star. My boyfriend and I were extremely impressed by their attention to detail and quality service.

Nice view. Bout all that's goin good here. Waited an extra 15 minutes past our reservation. And then waited another 30 min after being seated to decide to get up and leave. Not one person came by to take our orders. Hopefully others have a better experience than us.Just moved to COS and this was our first negative experience in the area.
