Lets start by saying I have a very love/hate relationship with goodwill outlet. I swing by once or twice a month and wow, the resellers are ruthless. My main peeve is the carelessness. They'll go to the bins with glass, dishes, breakables with the highest level of i dont care if it wont make me money ive ever seen. Theyll throw and roughly swipe through it breaking sets that otherwise someone might love! And the shoving and rushing of the workers, as much as its hard to deal with the bad attitude the staff have, spend an hour there and youll understand why theyre so jaded. I also dont like when they bring out bins and auction them off, they usually start the bids at 100$ or more and tbh this is goodwill? They get the stuff for free is that really necessary? It just encourages resellers who just want to make a profit. Positives? You can find nice things if your willing to dig. I found some really cool brass candlesticks and little people toys for my son. I think ill stick mostly to non outlet thrift, antique and second hand stores because as good as the prices are, i dont love the reselling culture

I love going here and seeing what cool finds they have. It definitely is busy and other customers can be crazy when new bins get put out, but I've found some great stuff. Lots of the employees are very kind.

Overpriced donated items, making CEO of goodwill rich off items people donate thinking they helping stop waste in landfills or helping lower income people have affordable access.

This is not your standard Goodwill. This is the last stop for items before destruction. Most items are prices by weight instead of a price tag. They have a clothes section, book section, furniture section, and an everything else section. There have always been a lot of people there when I go. There are several people there that will buy-and-flip or fix-and-flip. I just did a quick walk through and got tennis balls for the dog and a Hawaiian shirt for $1.83 total. If you haven't been to a goodwill outlet before, I highly recommend. If you are the creative or fix-it type, this may be a good place for you. I would not overlook it a start to a cheap and creative date night...

Fantastic place for bargains. Huge amounts of value, constantly changing stock. Staff are friendly and helpful if you are there to shop. If you need them to help you find your matching sock or to be your therapy team, this is not the place to go. (Seriously, lady, tell people you need accommodations, don't go into a place, not get accommodated, and then have a breakdown because they weren't psychic.) If you are here for an outlet store with bins and bargains, it's great. If you need a boutique or a caretaker, probably give it a miss.

I will never shop here again. I was leaving town and did not have enough room in my car for one of the items purchased. I asked the manager Janessa to please refund the items since the sale was 5 minutes prior to me asking. She refused and was quite rude about it. It was an over weight item so it was $8 I had to leave in the parking lot. Come to find out. Her shift was about over, she could have helped me and just didn't give a crap about her customers.

It was a different experience for me to shop here, a team member didn't allow us to walk around with our shopping cart, I don't really trust these customers they act like savages.. so we decided to just leave

Recently I began trying to collect a series of books on ebay. I found one I needed in the series and purchased it from their eBay seller for $18 while two others were all being sold for around 20 these are used paperbacks. Once i had paid for the auction and after the other two had sold, then then cancelled the sale and relisted the same exact used papervook in same 'acceptable' condition for $60. Very poor behavior and price gouging prices from a company that gets these completely free. I have spent years donating thousands and thousands of dollars of merchandise to my local Goodwill here in Salt Lake City and will no longer continue this practice and instead be giving them to Deseret Industries that take those free items and pass them along to other users at a fair price

This is a very interesting Goodwill. They sell what hasn't sold in their regular retail stores. It's a treasure hunt for sure - digging through huge tables overflowing with stuff. Lots of "professional buyers" here - most very friendly, but they know the ropes for sure.No kids allowed. It's a good thing. Don't take it personal. It's a safety issue for anyone under 16. You will understand once you start shopping here. With any store - there are pros and cons.Pros:In comparison to Denver's outlet stores, this place is clean and well run. They seem to keeps things fairly under control with greedy buyers.Cons:Employees smoke pot right outside the doors of the store on their breaks and then go back in stoned and work the cash registers. ALWAYS question the weight of your items cause the cashiers aren't too swift with math - being high at work can cause that I guess.Parking lot is filthy.Theft of stuff from your cart is a thing here. Take a bag, watch your purse.
