We love seeing movies here! It is small, not crowded, can have a drink while we eat snacks, it is clean, and the employees are super-friendly! Great local haunt, and don't have to go to the Springs for that cinema experience!Hoping this place stays open for years to come! It's a great place to see current and older movies in a local, hometown setting.

Yes! This place is adorable! It's a tiny little movie theater tucked in a small shopping center! It's almost hidden! So you buy your tickets and snacks at the same counter,...1 register. The "bar" area is separate (still great that such a small theater even sells alcohol!)The theaters are so small and quaint! Everything is newer, ceilings, seats, paint, light fixtures, etc.The seats were NOT the most comfortable...nothing fancy...(so if I'd complain about anything, it'd be seat-comfortness. They don't recline or lean at all...)Overall, super cute venue in a small mountain town. I loved the cozy little theater! Great picture, great sound, temperature was perfect, and snacks were great!

Fun fact when the theater was built we were the first owners and operators of the theater. it was a twin, it had the gold nugget and the silver nugget screens, worked there for eight months or so when I got out of high school with my friends who helped build the theater....One time during a windstorm the gold hill cinema's logo suffered damage during the windstorm and the G in the H fell off transposing the name of the theater into the ''old ill cinema'' Definitely a beautiful theater another fun fact I don't know if it's still there but the oldest house in town was moved across the street from the theater from somewhere in the town and we also lived in that house, My bedroom was in the front of the house on the second floor and it faced Pikes Peak right out my bedroom window, it was quite the quaint mountainesque setting..... Beautiful little town and wonderful people‼®™ [email protected]

Awesome theatre in town, perfect setting for the new Jackass movie. Popcorn and soda was good. Reminded me of the theaters my grandpa and I would go to as a kid.

This theater was recently purchased by someone new. Ed, we miss you. The tickYou used to be able to get pizza from Dominos next door, but that is no longer offered. There is snacks only, no real food. I ordered a glass of wine, and it was a miserly half pour at full price. Just don't waste your money. Beer is a much better buy here, as it's in the bottle. Also, Ed, the previous owner, used to employ all high school students, and that was not in evidence tonight. Movie prices and snack prices have stayed the same. Went back Friday night (I know) with some friends. Saw a rated R movie. There were elementary school aged kids in there!! Totally inappropriate!! Every movie at this theatre currently showing is rated R. They have family friendly pricing, but absolutely no family friendly movie. This theatre has gone downhill very quickly since a new person has taken ownership.

I had the pizza rolls. Only thing I ate all day. I was up all night sicker than I have ever been in my 50 years on this earth. I was not upset at all but wanted to give them a heads-up so others won't have this happen to them. I called and politely let them know. I spoke with a very nice teenage girl. Shortly after I hung up the manager called. She yelled at me, told me I have allergies (I ate that exact brand pizza roll last week. I have zero allergies), then hung up on me. I have never been treated so badly in my life. Not only was I up sicker than a dog for over 7 hours, I called as a courtesy and was absolutely disrespected in every way possible. This manager needs to be fired. No one should employ this person. The theater was great. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across. That teenager handled things beautifully. Promote her.

This theater is AMAZING! We are beyond blessed to have such a great place with fantastic employees here in Woodland Park. They had a very large crowd tonight for the premier of a movie and it was handled very well. Thank you Gold Hill Team for taking good care of us!
