Glory Badges Tattoo

This is the best tattoo place around. My go-to shop and I have never had one single negative experience here. They are masters at their craft, advise their clients well and take pride in their work. They have done three of my tattoos thus far and I always leave happy. I have pink on one of my larger tattoos and in spite of the fact that pink typically seems to fade-mine has never required retouching and is as beautiful as the first day I got it five years ago. My most recent experience here was no different. Beautiful work again, line work was perfect, exceptional design and creativity. Consultation prior to beginning was awesome and the artist took my every request into consideration. So awesome! I will be back!!!

This was by far the best experience I've had getting a tattoo. Clean, amazing atmosphere, and the owner is wonderful. My tattoo turned out amazing and the price was very fair. Wonderful experience overall.

I've been going to Glory Badges since maybe 2008. Jeff is my usual artist but I've had work done by Maria as well - both are excellent! Jeff is so great to work with. He has always been able to interpret exactly what I want and put in on paper. If you're not entirely set on how you'd like something to look, let Jeff play around with your idea - hes very talented. Besides having great artists and reasonable prices, I always feel comfortable and welcome in this shop which can be hard to come by! Maria, Jeff and Jimmy create a positive, fun atmosphere to be in. I'll never go anywhere else!

Back in early 2005 I went to Art with a Price (aka Art with a Pulse) to get a new piece. I had it drawn out already, just needed to get inked. When AWAP quoted me an outrageous figure like I was an idiot, I left and went to Glory Badges Tattoo which at the time was at 219 E. Platte Ave. (now 317 E. Platte, across the street from the stoner hangout, Freaky's).That's when I met Maria (the shop's owner) and "Jackhammer" Jim (who has been tattooing since the 80's). They were very personable and fairly priced. Since then I've gotten two half-sleeves done by Maria; one of which won 1st place at the Cripple Creek Tattoo Festival. I've also been tattooed by Jim and Jeff.I have recommended numerous friends to Glory Badges over the years and everyone loves the shop and most are repeat customers now.Maria is on the Health Department's tattoo safety board, so she is dedicated to cleanliness.Stop on by. Maria definitely put me at ease as she inked me with a beautifully custom destined family tree. She was wonderful, professional and knows her stuff. She made my Colorado visit one of a kind. Make sure to stop in and ask for Maria. You won't be disappointed!

I have had two tattoos from Glory Badges and they both look great! My anklet was done by "Jackhammer" Jim, who wasn't exactly gentle but was meticulous and very skilled. My shoulder piece was done by Maria, who gave me great advice on placement, changes, and color. Her design turned out beautifully and she was so gentle that I nearly fell asleep- I kid you NOT. Best tattoo shop in Colorado! Super friendly and talented artist. Everyone one here is great you can't go wrong with anyone there. Maria has done majority of my tattoos she's the best artist I have ever been tattooed by. I've lived in several states and she and her shop are by far better than anywhere I've been. I just got my first tattoo here yesterday. I started out by going to pens and needles and the artist I talked to there didn't seem very interested and acted like I was a fly on his plate.So I left there with a card and went with my girlfriend to one of her friends she was telling me about. Chris, at glory badges is the shit! I would suggest any of my friends go to him. He does amazing work and talks with you and jokes with you throught the proces. My tattoo turned out better than I even thought was possible! THANKS CHRIS!
