Hidden gem. Christian bookstore. Great coffee- loved the iced pumpkin dirty chai. Little indoor seating but great outdoor seating in a beautiful setting next to garden of the gods. You need to pay to park on weekends but free on weekdays. The guard at the gate will give you a pass to go here for 2 hours- and no wandering around the campus unless you are staying at Glen Eyrie. Delicious sandwiches- hot. Turkey Reuben was great. And roast beef sandwich was pretty good. Sandwiches come with a drink from the case and a small bag of chips.

This small coffee shop is a hidden gem at the airport, made even better by the friendly and fun people who work there. The staff's warm and welcoming attitude creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. It's the perfect spot to sit back, sip on your coffee, and take a breather from the hustle of travel. The shop has a small collection of books for you to browse, adding a cozy, personal touch to your visit. They also offer a few unique souvenirs, making it a delightful place to explore while you enjoy your drink. Whether you're looking for a quiet moment or a little entertainment during your layover, this spot is definitely worth a try.

I had high hopes for the bookstore but it was pretty small and mostly had religious books and touristy gifts. I was staying in the castle with my partner so we stopped in here to check it out and ended up getting a couple of drinks and no books. The drinks were so good we went a second time the next day! I got The Queens Cap and The Denver and both were delicious.

If you are in the area, definitely check out the bookstore! They have a great selection of Christian literature that is organized in alphabetical order. They also have journaling Bibles, ESV book by book journaling sets, coffee table Bibles, etc. They also have Glen merchandise, stickers, mugs, jewelry, tea sets, artwork, etc. There's a coffee and tea spot inside the bookstore so you can browse the bookstore while waiting for your drink order to be called.

This location was absolutely wonderful. Would recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area. The castle is tucked back on acres of land, and you're allowed to walk the property freely. I took a tour with an retired pastor, the tour costs $9 and worth every penny. The tour guide was very insightful into the history of the castle. The castle is now owned by The navigator organization so it is their mission to spread the word of Jesus Christ through their tours, however they welcome all. You can stay in the castle rooms. I would have loved to experience the tea within the castle but it is currently closed due to COVID. Be aware that if rooms in the castle are booked you may not get to see all rooms on the tour. This castle is a hidden gem and worth coming to see if you're in Colorado. p.s. there is wildlife on the property that they mention to be aware of when walking the property

If you're traveling to Colorado Springs and are a person of faith, this is a fantastic place to tour or stay. Refreshing grounds offer friendly people, areas of solitude, hiking trails, tours, food and overnight accommodations when available. Beautiful surroundings. This is a great place to get away from it all and relax.

What a great getaway place. The grounds are super clean and well maintained. It is extremely quiet, we never ran into anyone, as if we were there alone. There are no TVs in the room which makes the place more intimate. Lots of hiking trails to go on. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone

I have been here twice. Once on women retreat and once with my husband for a special night. Both times everything has been wonderful. Free breakfast and a beautiful castle with lots of hiking and walking trails.

Took the rare whole house tour on Black Friday 2019. Very interesting. Not really for the mobility challenged. Lots of steep tight stairs. We stayed overnight in one of the few king rooms they had. Room 403 was big and spacious, beyond quiet. The rooms on the second floor with low 200's are the Palmer family rooms. Nice size and easy to get to, only one set of stairs. The 300's are the in laws rooms. There is one larger suite on this floor right at the top of the steps. The higher 200's rooms are the old servant quarters. Very small, far from everything and not much view. Breakfast was nice, tables with coffee, water, table linens and decorated for Christmas. Large tables encourage guests to sit together and socialize. Would definitely do this again maybe in the fall. The grounds are beautiful, great for exploring. Wildlife wonders around freely.
