There's a reason Gateway Liquor is 5 stars all the way!1 = It's freaking HUGE!! but not in that overwhelming huge way...2 = It's well laid out with digital price tags and great signage to direct you.3 = Friendly staff4 = An EPIC selection of beer lines their wall coolers! Both local delights and some obscure brews I didn't think I would ever get to try!!5 = The location is actually not too bad for those of us that work in town and live out east. Just a hop skip and a jump off the highway!I think the only improvement I would suggest is some sort of frequent buyer program. Like a spend x amount and get x off next purchase. But that's just a suggestion and not a deal breaker on their 5 star rating! Excited for my next adventure down the aisles of Gateway Liquor!

These guys are great. First of all they have an amazing selection of just about anything you might be looking for. But the staff is super helpful help me make two excellent choices on the whiskey front. I can't say enough about how great Gateway liquor is.

Went to Gateway Liqour from DIA, wanted to pick up some vodka and my wife needed to use the restroom. Price was good place was clean. Was told no public restroom! "Too many people have torn it up, stole things, it's too much trouble. However 5 Guys at the end of the parking lot has a public restroom!" What a thing to do to 5 Guys! My wife and I are professionals and look the part. No dice! I said sorry guess we'll take our money somewhere that respects its customers! We drove to DIA Liquor!

Finally, a decent liquor store in my neighborhood! Great selection and super helpful staff make this place a pleasure to visit. I especially like the make your own six pack and the tastings on the weekends. No matter how busy they are, there is always someone available to answer questions. Prices are very affordable and they are always having great sales.

I wish I could give this store a zero. I walked in in the middle of the day, wanting to buy a bottle of water as I was at the vet next door and was super thirsty. i brought the bottle to the cash and the guy serving me looked at it then said "I'm not selling you this. I'm not going to make my money back" (whatever that means?) Why have water bottles if you don't don't want to sell them??? Put a sign up if you have a minimum spending requirement. its the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced at a store. Definitely won't be going back.

Great selection but mark up allocated bourbon to crazy aftermarket prices. I was under the impression liquor stores cannot do this. Have Pappy 12 year for $1,499. I bought it at another liquor store for $170.

Beware when ordering online for pick-up. Under no circumstances should you be giving your credit card to anyone when you arrive to pick-up an order, just your ID.Unfortunately this was a very bad experience, which involved a series of flubs and then an attempt to charge our credit card twice (it was a significant purchase). We placed an order on a Saturday afternoon via their website for pick-up. They use a 3rd party service to process payments. Customers should receive a confirmation email when the store acknowledges receipt of their order. After 2 hours, we never received an email, so we had to call the store. The woman who answered never asked for our name or order number - she simply assumed we were a different customer and said their order had been canceled. We explained that she was referring to a different order than ours. She finally checked and found our order; said she would call us when it was ready. A man identifying himself as the store owner called us later and said the order was ready and that we needed to bring our credit card. We asked why, since we had paid online. He said it was "just a hold" and that they need to charge the card at the store. This is untrue. The SERVICE holds the card payment and then ensures the card is charged. You are only required to bring your ID. Under no circumstances should you be providing your credit card at the store. The man also said we had to go inside to pick-up the order; they don't do curbside. Okay. My husband asked if the employees are wearing masks and we were vigorously assured they do. This is untrue. Only one employee was wearing a mask when we arrived. My husband had to ask the store owner to put his on. The owner then tried to obtain our credit card, which we had already confirmed with our credit card company as being charged. Yes, we checked with our credit card company before going to the store because we were (justifiably) concerned. We had to wait while this guy called the vendor to confirm payment. Regardless, HE SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. The SERVICE ensures payment on behalf of the store.
