Gasoline Alley

This is a great bar with a rooftop located right in downtown Colorado Springs. I was walking by and intrigued by the rooftop (I have a weakness). The inside has kind of a cool dive bar/maybe place to dance bar. There are three stories! I came early on a Saturday evening so I didn't see the place in full swing. There's a fire pit on the rooftop, seating and great people watching haha. I got a sour beer on tap from 10 barrel which was awesome. There didn't have much selection of ciders unfortunately but it seemed like they could make any cocktail. Worth checking out if you're out on the town!

Profile here says open until 2am. Yet they close and chase everyone out at midnight with at least 20 customers wanting to stay. How hard is it to keep your online hours updated? On a pleasant note, the bartender was very nice.

This was our last stop celebrating Saint Patrick's day, and we chose this place because there was no line to get in. They have 3 floors with a bar on each floor, the third floor is a rooftop and because of snow and cold the bar was not open. But they have a fire pit on the roof so you can stay warm and the music isn't as loud if you want to talk. I loved the music they were playing, a lot of throwbacks, but there is no room to dance or even stand without being in the way. There were tables and chairs lining the walls and bar. Doesn't give off club vibes and more causal bar. We didn't stay long because we were in the way with all chairs filled and just being bumped around, trying not to spill or be spilled on.

The Hotdog I had was great! What I don't understand is the menu board and the lit sign outside that says "order here" indicating that you should be able to order outside. But they wouldn't let me order outside they made me go inside and order which I was not happy about because my 10 yo niece was with me and all I wanted to do was grab a quick snack and head back to the nail salon Nextdoor and rejoin my family. And the hotdog was anything but quick which I kinda understand because it was shift change but at the same time the staff was standing around talking instead of getting started on my food. The staff was okay not super friendly but not rude either. The restaurant was clean but dark in the middle of the afternoon.

I liked the good location on Tejon St, the nice interior theme, the classic rock background music and the giant TV with three other TVs at the bar. Unfortunately, this bar did not offer a happy hour, the drink prices were on the high side ($5.50 wells and $5.00 bottled beer), and the bartender was more interested in talking with her friends than attending to customers.

I actually ordered through door dash and had them deliver at my job. was cooked annd delivered fast. I ordered the War Dog Bratwurst for $5, slider burgers w/fries, and chicken finger basket. love the breaded fries. sliders were definitely gone in one bite but did not disappoin. Bratwurst and Sauerkraut. The chicken finger basket he loved and he works at a restaurant. I would have taken a picture but was hungry and ate it before thinking about it.

I ordered a salad or rather the bouncers radio picked up me talking about it and by the time I go in and sat down they brought it out amazing like having my mind read service . Rooftop seating fireplace pool table or something to that effect if I recall and good food

I wish I could put a 0/5. Denied my husband. He is WELL OVER 21 years old, almost 30. They would not tell him or me when I asked about 8 staff. A girl with blue hair was not being helpful and very sneaky. I work in the service industry in Colorado and they are not being equitable. Not worth it and extremely unhelpful when it comes to safety and being sure those who are responsible for others are being care of. Someone mentioned dress code... he was wearing Carhartt overalls and we have never been to CO Springs before!! I wanted to work WITH them... they were not willing.

Avoid this place. The food is crap, the cooks don't follow health and safety rules and security is overly aggressive. I have heard and witnessed multiple stories of nightmares about this place. If you're visiting the springs, don't waste your money here. The only way they stay in business is the prime location, terrible business practices.

The food was great. The service was awful. The bartender is taking shots with her friends at the bar and then chatting on FaceTime... I work in the food industry I have been in the bar service but have never experienced anything like this.
