Garfield Lake Park

Such a cool park. Garfield offers a community pool, fishing, picnic areas, a playground, and a fantastic pedestrian path that loops around all of it. Three laps at a moderate pace took a little over half an hour. But, I think the coolest part of the park is the bike skills loop - a trail for kids with some small jumps and ramps that will prepare them for the big kids over at Ruby Hill. :) Highly recommended!

Garfield Lake park is a medium sized park on the southwest side of Denver. It has a nice little trail that surrounds the lake thats used by walkers and cyclists. This park also has a playground, a pool, restrooms, a water fountain, basketball and tennis courts and large open fields to play football, baseball and soccer. When I went the park was mostly quiet with a few people walking around. Good place to visit if you're in the area.
