This gigantic trading post is a life saver for thousands of visitors coming to Garden Gods everyday. There's place to eat, get drinks and ice cream, restrooms, and so much stuff for shopping including clothes, tribal artisan items, arts, paintings, local made food items and so much more. Restrooms are clean. Whole shopping and dining are well maintained. Staff are super friendly. Checkout lines move quickly. I got some t-shirts, hoodies, local made pop corn and beautiful magnets from here. Really happy to see such quality store in such a magnificent tourist area.

I'd definitely recommend the shop if it's your first time visiting Garden of the Gods so you can get a little souvenir! Other than that, you really don't ever buy anything here after the first visit. The prices are definitely that of a tourist location but they have pretty cool items. The food is also decent which is great! Cool place just pricey!

"Souvenir" - Billy JoelYoutube ruins all secrets, but I am glad I learned it, being from out-of-town. The trick/tip is enter from the Garden of The Gods Trading Post location to avoid all the traffic jams getting into the Garden of The Gods park, and that was a good tip too, because I had to use the bathroom after all that Denver Biscuit Company coffee. Entrance is free into the park, by the way. Huge selection of all manner of gifts and goods, lots of souvenirs with human names and breeds of dogs, fudge, candles, bags, jewelry, native American crafts, one-of-a-kind creations and even a restaurant (we did not eat at the restaurant). This was a great stopping place on our way to our hotel the Villa Motel in Manitou Springs from the airport. My favorite thing: the bathroom. Thank you, Garden of The Gods Trading Post.

Ok this is more than a teasing post. WOW. Lots of interesting items for sale and many were made from local artists. There was a nice variety of items and price points. If you wanted a cheap souvenir for the kids that was available too.

There were so many items to look at. They have a small restaurant indoors with tables and chairs, a section that sells fresh fudge, books for sale all about the history of the Garden of the Gods, surrounding areas of Colorado and the State of Colorado. There were a lot of people in the store and the trails in the Garden of the Gods. I highly recommend visiting The Trading Post and the Garden of the Gods when visiting Colorado.

Such a lovely trading post! My mom could not get enough & frankly neither could I! They have so much in there, from traditional souvenirs, clothing, BEAUTIFUL jewelry, ice cream, burgers, & delicious fudge! We all got buffalo burgers, some of us opting for the Southwestern Buffalo Burger, including me lol They add a big chunk of a green chili & it's just a perfect compliment to the Buffalo patty! They have a very picturesque outdoor eating area which made our lunch even more enjoyable. For dessert, they sell a variety of fudge!!! My only regret is only buying one. This place has everything you're looking for!

So my pictures do not properly capture how large this place actually is. The trading post was built in 1900 and has increased size 7 different times since then. Throughout the century+, it was imperative to keep the Pueblo style of the infrastructure. In the 1950s Native Americans actually used to live in it and would fashion their jewelry, weave baskets and blankets, and create artwork for sale. While things can be a little pricey, it is CERTAINLY worth perusing and if you want some great looking, great quality pieces of art or Colorado based clothing you'll find it here. There is also a whole toy section for the little niños. The staff is always very nice and I love stopping by here when I'm in the area

Fortunately a friend had alerted us to the fact that there was a secluded oasis in the back of this place, or we might not have looked past all the glitzy souvenirs. But if you are looking for a good place to eat, within the Garden of the Gods, look no further. The food was very good, but the outdoor seating surrounded by a virtual jungle of green was the highlight of this place.
