Garden of the Gods is my happy place. Easy to get to from just about anywhere in Colorado Springs. Great place to explore hiking trails or just drive the out to see amazing views and rock formations. You can spend the day, or make a quick visit on the way to fantastic State and National Parks in the mountains. Pro tip: get there by 8:30 - 9:00 am to avoid grid lock crowds and traffic. Avoid visiting on Saturday or Sunday if possible. The weekend is the busiest.

They are packed in like sardines. We van camp and they put us in the tent section at a cost of $67 a night. The tent section is several spaces (decent sized) separated by 6' sold fences. As a result there is no air movement AT ALL. If you are tent camping or van camping, find somewhere else.

We have stayed at many many campgrounds and we were not impressed by this one. We have a 36ft trailer and the rv/trailer sites pack you in like sardines. There is very little "hang out" space and your neighbor's sewer hookups are in your space, you can smell the sewer at times. There are also no fire pits unless you are staying in the tent area. The resort also charges you for a late check out which I don't like. Most resorts allow it until the next guest is supposed to check in, without any charge. The campground was clean. We wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The biggest turn off is honestly how tight the spots are.

Garden of the Gods RV Resort has a terrific location. The bathroom and shower facilities were better than most of the other campgrounds we stayed at during our road trip.Only complaint would be that maneuvering our truck pulling the camper trailer was a bit difficult at times. Some of those roads are really tight. Folks were parking their vehicles where they should not have sometimes because some of those camp sites were pretty cramped. Other than that, it was a nice stay in Colorado Springs.

We'll first all it's quite crowded Staff was friendly and seemed to be doing a good job Our space was a good size and we had parking for our truck but the sewer hook up was under our unit (not ideal)Our site was pretty good but our friends with a 5th wheel were parked in a row so tightly packed that their pop-outs took up almost all the space between them and their neighbor If you have kids it seems like a great place to let them run and play There are 2 pools and the kids seemed to enjoy the one near us There's a bike path along the stream it's nice, paved and well maintained but it is popular with homeless don't send your kids to play there aloneThe speed limit in the park is 5 mph but not for staff in their golf-carts and they don't necessarily watch for other traffic So in conclusion close to stuff in Colorado Springs, good onsite food sales, great for families with kids, and it's very busy.Maybe not the best for seniors looking for quiet relaxing.

We really enjoyed our trip to this RV resort and campground. We were able to do laundry on our two week long road trip across the country and there was also a delicious little breakfast food truck in the mornings and a great pizza truck for dinner. The location is very central to a lot of attractions as well. I would definitely go back

End of season visit to the GoG area. A whole lot less grass than I remember from a visit 7 years ago. As more RV locations go to gravel or concrete. Saturday arrival and not a sole to be found representing GOG resort. It appears, the off season is a ghost town. The site was clean, and everything worked as needed. No problem with the homeless, living outside of the RV park. just to be aware!

Got a text in the morning saying I was checking in late, so my envelope was in the laundry room. All envelopes were on the laundry room with keys work room numbers. Anybody can just grab any one. By the way, I want a late check in. Their office closes at noon on Saturday! But they don't tell you that. So when you get there and need to speak to somebody, there's nobody in site. Their pool schedule is wrong. Both pools were closed when we got there. I immediately cancelled, by putting my key in the drop box and leaving them a voicemail. Their policy is no refunds. They ended up giving me a refund minus $50. They still haven't returned 2 voicemails I've left. Beware of this dump. It's a real dump. My cabin started it had garden views of the pool. Wrong. It's a dump. Not an RV RESORT by any means, and you will never be able to speak to anybody.

We were drawn to this campground for the location. It's excellent if your goal is to see and do all the touristy stuff, which of course we did. Drawbacks: our site was very uneven. WiFi was not good. Dog park is a gravel lot. All this mighta been ok , but it wasn't cause we paid $120 per night Resort rate for trailer park experience.
