I ordered a charcuterie board from Garden of the Gods Catering during Charc Week, a local Colorado Springs event where multiple restaurants offered charcuterie specials. For $30, this plate was a steal. My friends and I were absolutely floored by how amazing this board was. Not only did it come with multiple cheeses, meats, and dips, but also a delicious fresh baguette. Ever had elk or cranberry cognac sausage? How about sage derby cheese? Me neither, and now I am hooked. We paired it with our own wine for a picnic and had an amazing charcuterie experience! We were especially impressed by the quality of the food. I have eaten at Garden of the Gods Market Cafe many times but have never ordered through their catering company. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely keep them in mind for future events. Their event coordinator who took our order was so pleasant and helpful! Thank you for the delicious board.

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. We contracted with this company to cater my daughters wedding. After the contract was signed there was no communication from them. We had tried to reach out to them numerous times via phone call and email. No luck. And the day of the wedding, they were 1 1/2 hours late with serving dinner. The meal was cold and the rolls were as hard as a rock. We have tried to reach out to them since then and still have had no luck. Save yourself the headache and a lot of money by choosing a different caterer or preparing your own meal.

We were looking to cater a reception at the end of July. We called their number twice and were told we would get a small back within 24 hours. The phones are answered by a service and not the actual business, we also sent an email inquiry and got a response tellling us we would be contacted within 48 hours. We have never been contacted , even just to tell us they were fully booked. Based on this, customer service is abysmal.

Just finished my Thanksgiving meal and it was delicious! Will be doing this again next year! Dinner for 4, there are 3 of us. Enough for left overs. It was perfect and easy, which is what we needed this year. Now it may be a yearly event! Thanks.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I used Garden of the Gods Catering & Events for my wedding earlier this month and it was a disaster from the beginning. My trouble starts back in July when I tried to get ahold of someone to change my dinner time. It took over two months and me reaching out to general phone numbers and emails to get ahold of someone, mind you I had already paid in full so I couldn't back out or else I would have. Turns out the gal I was in contact with no longer works for the company. It came down to less than two weeks before my wedding day that I finally was able to get in touch with someone. When I hadn't heard anything from the gal I had spoken to in the couple days prior over the phone, I emailed the general events@ email. I get an email after expressing my deep concern for my catering order in general saying "Hi, I emailed you yesterday. Did you not get it?". Obviously if I'm reaching out, I didn't receive anything, right? I thought we were good to go once I had a phone call and other email exchange with the gal that was taking over my day. I thought I would be able to brush communication mishap under the rug.Cut to dinner time on my wedding day. I realize it is far past the arrival time on my contract & dinner was supposed to be getting set up more than 30 mins ago. After frantically calling and sending an email, it took my father to go out & see if he could find the caterers down the road to learn that the truck has been stuck. I then get an email saying "I tried to email you". How did that email go through but the first one didn't? Then another email saying "I tried calling". I had been at this lodge for 2 nights at this point had zero trouble with service or getting calls/texts/emails through. We also had two different caterers and a rental service come to the lodge also with zero service/communication difficulties. Because of this failure of communication, we ate dinner far later than planned, the food was cold & rolls hard as rocks. This also meant other parts of the wedding were pushed, causing my photographer to have to stay longer than the contract.I sent an email to the gals I had been in touch with and still have yet to get an email or phone call back.

I have never been treated so unprofessionally by an organization. I worked with Garden of the Gods Catering years ago and they were wonderful, HOWEVER, we attempted to go back to them for catering two separate 50-60 person corporate picnics on back to back weekends in September, and it was an absolute nightmare. The person who was supposed to be my point of contact was incredibly difficult to reach; regularly left my emails unanswered, missed phone appointments, pushed appointments and then didn't call me back, etc. After I asked repeatedly in emails if I needed to sign a contract and was never answered, I was told via phone that we were "ahead of the curve" and still had plenty of time for those types of things and was reassured my event was "in the books." Four weeks out, I was finally walked through the contract and deposit options, and within days of receiving my quote, while finalizing details with my group, received an email from the catering manager that they'd be unable to accommodate my request because they'd signed a larger client, three and a half weeks from my first event. I will never consider Garden of the Gods catering for an event again; their lack of professionalism is unprecedented.
