What a gem in Colorado Springs! This would be perfect for a mother/daughter outing (old enough and mature enough to work with the soldering iron), a date night, or a girls night out! I initially found this place because they were offering a fun class "sip and solder" where you could try a small stained glass project AND bring your own adult beverages. I chose to make a narwhal! What a blast! Excellent instruction, fun project, very hands-on, and lots of different stained glass options! Others in our class made a sailboat, a cat, a jester hat, a butterfly, and an owl. I can't wait to come back and try some other glass projects that I always wondered how to make, but didn't think I'd have a chance to learn! They have a wide variety of classes and while the space isn't like these newer, more trendy art studios, it is still a great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back again!

Went here to use my living social deal. I paid under $20 for a $45 deal. Scheduling an appointment was very easy especially with the busy time of the year. The owner, Coral, was so nice and helpful. She did a brief overview and stayed the entire session running the kiln and actively answering questions and giving helpful feedback. The deal included 4 pair of earrings or charms. The earrings were made on copper pennies with enameling in opaque or transparent colors. An extra set can be purchased for $3. It was a great experience, I was able to relax and explore my creativity for 2 hours. I'll return and tell my friends about the classes and open studio time.
