We started going to this Haunted spot a few years ago because it is outdoor and different. The school bus crawl and the motel attraction lured us in and we have enjoyed the experience. We have been to many many haunted locations in the last thirty years and this is one of the best for the price. Great costumes and actors!!! No haunted spot is complete without a monster chasing me with a chainsaw. Fright Acres has a fast lane for a higher price which is a good choice for people who don't want to wait in a long line in the cold. They have a concession stand and plenty of parking. Prices are a little high but worth it. Despite an arson this year-Fright Acres re-opened for the final Halloween weekend!! Put this place on your spooky calendar for next year.

Really well done haunted maze. The cast is great and they put a lot of work into the set pieces. Thanks to covid precautions the lines can get long so come early or pay for the fast pass.Advice for those with a stigmatism, they do use strobes which can play havoc with some vision impairments. They arent all over the maze, just in some spots.

Just got back from Fright Acres and I must say it was not bad! Most important thing to do: get there early! And I mean at 7 the latest, otherwise you'll be waiting in lines for a long time. There is a large parking lot in front of the area so parking wasn't bad at all. We then got in line and was told that if we have already bought tickets online we can just go right in through the entrance. So we just whipped out the cell phones and bought our tickets right then and there, which was a great idea. Now, this part is a bit confusing. The security guard told us we could skip all the lines and just go to the line for the first haunt: reapers hollow. This is completely inaccurate information! You still need to get in line to get a ticket, because you have to have a paper ticket! The paper ticket has the names of the 3 haunts so at the entrance they punch out the one you're going into, meaning you can't go to any of them more than once (and there's no reason to really).Once you get your paper ticket you get in line again in front of the first haunt. If you buy the instant access you definitely get to wait a lot less. I won't give away the details of the haunts to not ruin it for anyone, but they're all quite good. Now I will be honest, I was not scared throughout any of the haunts (super weird but my mom used to scare me a lot as a kid so... guess that prepared me for this kinda stuff?) but the 4 other people I was with were definitely scared a few times! I get more scared with jump scares, and if you're at all in a big group and you're walking in the middle or even at the back... You probably won't be scared because you've already seen what's happening. So if you're in a big group, consider splitting up. Or maybe for one haunt have a couple people in front and then for the other, have some of the other people in your group at the front.Even though I wasn't necessarily scared, it was still super awesome that the staff really got into their roles. I mean they were great! Just seeing the outfits and the effort they put into playing the role was great. However there weren't as many of them as I thought there would be. So I'm giving 3 stars mostly because I wasn't scared and because the design of the haunts could be altered a bit so that people in the middle and back get some attraction too. Also lines. The other two haunts are called the dead end motel and goblins Grove. If you're done with the reapers hollow and you got to the maze early, would recommend going to goblins Grove first even though it's farther. This is because a lot of people will be trying to go to the dead end motel at that time, the Grove will have no lines. Then when you're done with the Grove you can go to the motel and really, motel is the most interesting one.

Great concept... Fell flat having ONE ticket window open for everything including fast track. Huge space that is short about 100 much needed actors. Hire more people! Open more ticket windows!

Went with my sister in law today and we had a blast. We laughed and screamed our way through the 4 attractions. The only downfall we could see is that there wasn't any handicap parking but that was it. Everything else was fun.

By far the worst haunted house I've visited this season. Parking lot staff were not wearing masks, and staff did nothing to ensure social distancing between groups in the line. I came by myself, and was forced to go in with another group, since "the actors don't know how to deal with singles". There were very few actors throughout, maybe one every 2-3 minutes, on a Friday night. What ones there were made no effort to socially distance from the guests, even when it was requested. One actor about halfway through got even closer to me, screamed in my ear louder, and followed me when I told him I wanted him to stay six feet away because of the covid risk. At least I didn't see any actors without a face covering, but who really knows behind the costume masks. The haunt was long, about 30 minutes, but there is nothing else to reccomend about it.

Horrible! we were assaulted by one of the actors because we wanted to take a selfie. We were trying to take a selfie and the actor ran at us screaming at the top of his lungs to get out. At first we were confused, but then we saw that things were serious when my friend got grabbed by his clothes and pushed him to the ground. He started to attack him and at the same time screaming for help when he was the one attacking us for no reason. The security guards tried to justify the assault by saying "you shouldn't have taken the selfie" and that was the justification for the assault. We asked politely to speak to the owner only to him not letting us explain shit and instead screamed at us to get out or he would call the cops. We were all keeping calm as we did not want the situation to escalate. Overall, the actor claimed that he felt threatened because we were in a group. By any means NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE put hands on the actor. The ACTOR put hands on us first and we were simply confused and horrified at what was happening. By any means go at your own risk. But I just wanted to let you guys know that we got assaulted and it was supposedly our fault why WE got assaulted.

This would've been a great experience if it weren't for the fact that we waited in line for 4 HOURS. We got there shortly after it opened at 7pm and didn't get to the front until about 11:30pm. After 2 hours we considered ourselves committed. There was no staff out providing any updates, which would have been great. By the time we got to the front we were so cold and miserable and just wanted to get it over with. It's no wonder other haunted attractions do timed reservations. Strongly suggest getting there by 2pm if you want to get in at a decent time.

This place is incredible! Steve from Fright Acres was so helpful in ensuring I got a ticket to go with my friends. We go every single year and it is our FAVORITE Halloween activity. So fun and spooky. Thank you Fright Acres for everything you do! We can't wait for this Friday!
