Great selection and well organized: sort by type and then by color, then by size. Three racks of men clothing as well. A wide choice of jewelry. Pleasant and helpful staff. I shop here every time I visit the area and it's one of my favorite spots.

A fun little consignment store in downtown Salida. Clothes were organized well and seemed to be on the higher end of being used, meaning they definitely screen what they put on the floor. I don't have a ton to say but this is worth a stop in if you enjoy finding treasures! Dressing rooms were clean and open. This place isn't cluttery where you can't look, see, feel things. It was the right balance of clean and organized. Expect prices to seem a little high. I found a dress that I wanted to buy, I couldn't help but to think for an extra $5.00 I could buy it new but decided to buy it anyway. I think there are deals to be found, you just have to spend some time looking!Enjoy!

Nice place where clothes are organized by type and then color. Didn't find anything this first visit, but had fun looking. They have some housewares and shoes in the far back. Has a board of flyers for interesting events mid-way on the right side of the store.Good energy. Pretty presentation.

I think this is one of the nicest consignment stores I have been in. It isn't small and packed with stuff that smells musty etc. It is large, clean, the clothes aren't jammed in and the employees are very helpful. Fun place for sure

I'm from Texas and came up to Salida for a vacation with my family. We went shopping around downtown and I noticed a store with cute boots in the window and suggested we go inside. As deciding weather to go in or not, a local walked by and said "Definitely go in, you won't be disappointed. Best store in town." so we decided to give it a shot. Immediately after walking in, I noticed a red leather skirt and ran to it and held on to it while looking around. I noticed the purse rack said $5 purses...WHAT A DEAL! I tried on several items and came out of the dressing room with the red leather skirt from express (seemed older), a colorful heavy sweater and a black tank top. The grand total came out to be $32!! Amazing! As the lady was ringing me up, I noticed a lovely triangle necklace and asked how much it was...it happened to be $280 dollars. Way too expensive but the range is great I guess because I found great deals for cute stuff. I also noticed that there was an upstairs with shoes and men's selection while checking out and was very disappointed that I couldn't go up because of a time crunch. It was a very well organized place with very friendly staff. I might have to make an occasional trip up to Salida every now and then just to come here!!

Decent all around. Nice selection, from bathing suits to footwear. Variety of sizes, men/women, types of clothing and accessories. Helpful staff. Take your time to search!

For a consignment store, very well kept and arranged with some very nice merchandise and plenty of it. The problem, without a doubt, you are going to get the shaft when you place items for consignment. Maybe if you're a personal friend that they feel they can't get over on, you might luck out. But personally, I never got recompense for the awesome items I placed there. To be frank, they are dishonest and they know it, but manage to get away with blatant stealing and they get away with it, because who's going to audit them on it? Shame on you guys! You should be called, "Free Money Consignment"...yeah, free money for you and those who consign items with you go away empty handed.

Buena Vista Colorado location on Main Street was adorable! Not sure why Google says this place is closed? August 2022, We had lunch a couple doors down at Crave (delicious!) and couldn't resist popping in to this beautifully arranged and lovely consignment shop afterwards. The street this is on is vibrant and beautiful, and this shop is the nicest consignment store I've ever stepped foot in. The cashier was so sweet and polite! My teenage daughter found a lovely Helly Hansen long sleeve base layer incredibly priced at $12.99 along with some beautiful charcoal cat eye sunglasses for $9.99! I traveled to Colorado with no sunglasses and thought I would buy some while here... never thinking I'd stumble on a glorious pair of Kate Spade sunglasses for $25 that were discounted 30%! In the end only $18! They carry high end designer brands as well as affordable other brands, and everything is beautifully organized. I found two spots with sunglasses, and the way back is where I found mine. (They carry a few great sunglasses for men also). Highly recommend you stop in at Free the Monkey!

Cash or checks only. . Who carries cash or checks! Great for immediate/temporary needs but couldn't buy what I needed. Atleast add a charge for C.C's.

Great place with clean items & good prices. I love the Buena Vista location also! They always have really nice returns to consignors as well. I'll definitely continue to shop & consign with them!
