FoxRun LAKE
On frozen pond
Lake HOTSPOT!
You can't see it in the photo, but there were fish and a turtle there.
Can you find this needle in the haystack on your walk?

Wonderful place to take my dog to the dog park or just go for a walk in the tall pine trees. Very peaceful place. Never too crowded but also enough people around so you know civilization is close-by. Very pretty ponds with turtles. Nicely groomed walking trails all over. Clean restrooms too.

Love this place! There is a hidden stunning (lake) you'll find if you walk/hike up the park or if you drive up there to the parking lots in the forest behind these wonderful and spectacular ponds! The view really IS breath-taking!* It is the perfect LUNCH get-a-way * Chitchat hotspot* Dog-Walking Paradise* Picnic Area/HubOr* Picture-Photography Scenery You'll encounter out/up there. It seems to be very family friendly with grilling zones, lots of benches to sit on and soccer/volleyball play grounds with restrooms at the bottom. A dream of A "Mecca"!

First time to review after hiking here several times. Typically, it's a fairly easy 3.1 mile trail. Today, however, it was a little more difficult due to extensive snow cover. Luckily, I had just enough service to be able to download the map through All Trails. It was sunny and not too cold, but we were glad to have our spikes today. Not too many other hikers out either. Like always, good views of Pikes Peak. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area or looking for a nice, well-marked trail.

This park was great. There was a pond we stopped at, only to walk to the other side to find an even larger pond with a gazebo over the water on a stone structure. There were active fish and turtles, even with some remnant ice and snow. We then went to the other side by the dog park to hit the playground. There was a large climbing structure and a playset. The kids enjoyed it a lot and other families were there playing frisbee, soccer, volleyball (sand area and net available), and quite a few eating dinner at the tables.

I go to Fox Run whenever I need to get away from suburbia. Whether you're there for the trails, playgrounds, or any other reason, you'll enjoy it.
