The service and quality was horrible and they were so rude and not helpful. I honestly have no more words, but don't get a membership here.

Let me start out by saying that the staff I have encountered here are amazingly friendly and helpful. This 2 star review has nothing to do with the staff. That being said, this location is pretty small and dated. No pool, hardly any equipment and the basketball court is a joke. Who ever heard of a carpeted basketball court. Seriously?? This location needs a serious overhaul!!

This is our favorite gym ever! It's mostly the staff. Boogie, at the desk, is a man capable of doing anything: personable, businesslike, studious, and amazingly likeable. Roy, a trainer at two Y's, is likeable and highly skilled; a good and generous man. My better half's trainer is Brooke. My L. has had heart issues for a year and Brooke has approached the task perfectly of building L.'s health back! It's little by little. Anyone with a health condition, that lives nearby, should use this gym.Tom, a staff member, is hard working and helpful, and likeable. Deb, who cleans the gym, is the single sweetest, most likeable mortal I've ever run across! In short, you'll love this gym as THE friendly place to go!

I have mostly fantastic things to say about this gym. It's become my second home. Everyone who works the morning/early afternoon is pleasant and friendly and I enjoy seeing them daily. My kids LOVE the daycare and I trust the daycare workers as if they were my own family. My issue comes with the YMCA policy itself, about the dress code, but also with the women who work in the evenings who could be spending their time doing literally anything else (taking control of the madhouse when every kid from Fountain is there playing basketball or working out) but choose to focus on what I'm wearing. Along with this, the comment that was made about me "looking cute" but needing to put a shirt on, made me see red. I go to the gym to workout. To focus. To relieve stress. I've never even noticed what anyone else was wearing. I don't go there to look cute. Just because a policy is a policy doesn't mean it's not absolutely ridiculous and outdated. My physical fitness journey shouldn't be sexualized, and a sports bra, one that shows NO cleavage at all, shouldn't be an issue, especially since I had my sweater wrapped around my waist. I can promise you my children would never see a woman working out, working hard on herself, and think "wow she looks like a (insert whatever word the YMCA and some of the employees thinks when they see a woman in a sports bra)" because that would just be silly. Christians don't judge, no conditions. :)
