I care about things being organized, clean and created for a purpose. When I walked into Fountain of Health Yoga Studio I was warmly greeted and guided to getting my mat and props ready. The class started right on time and was totally organized with intelligent sequencing. There was ample time for the silence at the end of class to absorb all that we had learned and experienced. This studio is truly quality, professional and comfortable and excels with the things I care about.

This is the first yoga studio I ever visited and the environment was perfect for me as a beginner. I spent several months working in Pueblo and found this studio to be a nice escape from evenings at the hotel. I would usually practice here one or two nights each week. The studio is spacious, clean, and boasts a large selection of mats, blankets, blocks, bolsters, straps, etc. The restroom/changing area is large enough and decorated nicely. Marcee is a wonderfully patient and encouraging teacher. Often the attendees are of mixed experience levels and she will tune the class to suit the clients. Marcee is also very attentive and will give personalized instruction or focus on areas that you request. I took mostly the Vinyasa classes and some meditation. I also attended a weekend Acro Yoga workshop here. This studio is located on a fairly busy street, so noise from traffic can be heard inside the studio. This is really only a problem during certain times and if there's no music playing.Before/After class take the short walk north to the Arkansas River and check out all of the interesting murals - there's also a walking path along the river.

Fountain of Health is hands down the BEST yoga studio in southern Colorado. All of the teachers are highly experienced, educated, and genuinely care for their students. If you are seeking pain relief, a better understanding of what yoga is, a safe and well rounded physical exercise, mental stability, emotional healing, a deeper spiritual experience, or just a place to connect with others in your community -- look no further. This is your place. The teachers are all incredibly welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful of each student in the class. I am so grateful for my time living in Pueblo because I had the opportunity to practice here regularly and learned so much about yoga. It was a profound experience for me. The studio has a fantastic website with all the information you need about the different class options ranging from beginners to more advanced-- they truly offer classes for everyone. Think you're not flexible, strong, or experienced enough? Think again! The teachers will help you modify ANY pose to suit your body and capability. Do yourself a favor and check out a class for yourself.

Marcy, the owner of the studio, has a fiery passion for her practice that transfers to her students through her teaching. I attended my first class with Fountain of Health looking to recover from addiction and because of Marcy's expertise and dedication to yoga as a lifestyle I found just what I was looking for. I was so moved during my first class with her, I became tearful during the final resting pose. The following day I felt rooted to the earth in a way I had never before experienced. There are many yoga studios out there today offering physical fitness and flexibility. This studio is different. Marcy offers transformation through the union of mind, body, and soul. Highly recommended!

Fountain of Health is my favorite yoga studio in Pueblo. The Teachers here are knowledgeable and the community is welcoming. Since I don't live here, I like to come to the studio for Continuing Ed courses and deeper study in both Yoga and Ayurveda. If you're are looking for a safe and supportive place to practice, to become a Yoga teacher, to deepen your understanding of Yoga, Meditation or Ayurveda, this is definitely the place to go!

I love this studio! FHYS welcomes people of all ages to engage in the practice of yoga. Your first class is FREE & there is a class for everyone! From energetic vinyasa to a relaxing restorative yoga class and every level in between. I like to come to the Hatha Tantra class on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00 and stay for the Relax & Renew class from 7:15-8:30. The parking lot is easy & convenient to use and the atmosphere inside the purple building is filled with warmth and joy.

While in Pueblo on business, I was craving something more than my hotel's very small fitness center...so I found Fountain of Health Yoga Studio just down the road in a bright and inviting purple building. My class was taught by Marcee - who was very friendly and welcoming. The building is a one-room studio (or so it appeared) -and I was surprised at how many folks came to pack in a Monday evening class. Everyone in the class seemed to know each other and there was quite a bit of chatter while people warmed up before class. It felt like a place where someone could really become part of a community - though for a drop-in out-of-towner it was a little intimidating. I'm more of a straight-forward yoga-for-fitness kind of person (and definitely a beginner). I tend to take power yoga or fast-paced flow classes that are challenging, but don't incorporate much in terms of spirituality. So, the group chanting/singing was a bit much for me - but I did like the idea of encouraging each other to practice with intention. The class itself was pretty straight forward (Marcee explained that it was "anusara" yoga, which I was not previously familiar with). At the end of class, people played around with headstands and handstands - which were also new to me, and Marcee, as well as other students in the class were very encouraging. There were a few comments by folks that seemed judgmental - as if there was only "one" way to do yoga or things that were "right" or "wrong" - which is very different from the studios I enjoy going to back home in the bay area (though I have certainly been to strict places that eschew other ways of thinking/practicing). But, overall, this was a really nice experience for someone on a business trip to drop-in and have a place to practice - though if you aren't a serious yogi, you might have to put up with a bit of yoga snobbery/pretentiousness. For folks living in the Pueblo area, I would think this would be a great place to start or build a yoga practice in a safe encouraging environment.
