What a wonderful find! We stopped here on our way through to stretch our legs for a minute and I am so glad we did! Be aware they don't allow dogs that was the only slight draw back. The center is so amazing - my one year old loved it, my ten year old loved it, and my 40 year old loved it. Lots of hand on facts and information- both science and history. The .7 mile loop trail was also fun and perfect for kids.

My family loves coming here and just walking the trails. We almost always see wildlife of some sort. The nature center has really interesting exhibits and programs too.

Great and easy hiking with miles of trails. We were blessed by getting to see and owl perched in a tree! The kids loved the displays inside and playing on the trails. We were entertained by numerous frogs and the sight of a heron. We will return!

This place is a lot bigger than what it seems. There's so much to see and the staff is great!!! The kids were super excited to see all the wildlife. We could spend all day there easily!

This is by far my favorite park to take my kids to! The trails are flat and easy to navigate. Fountain Creeks runs along a good portion of the trails and there are a few ponds as well. Two of the ponds you can fish but the other is for enjoying the nature. We have seen turtles, snakes, tons of birds, deer, and little lizards. We've even seen some people riding their horses. Keep your eyes open because you might find a hidden painted rock! What I love most is the parking lots could be full, but you rarely run into anyone else and if you do they are always so kind. People that bring their dogs are respectful and do a great job of keeping their dogs on leash. You will not be disappointed taking a trip to this park! P.S. There is an actual nature center, but we have never been.

I love going on nightly walks here, or early morning bike rides, or just casual strolls all over this nature center. You can fish, bike, walk, bird watch, etc. The only downside is the water smells sometimes. Couldn't tell you why, but it's absolutely beautiful here! Fun fact I've been coming here since I was my kids age. Touch of nostalgia every time we come.
