Focus On the Family Bookstore

I have so many amazing things to say about this place. First off, you can't be a free place to take the kids when it's snowing outside. Talk about a great value. They have coffee and hot tea that you can make and take while you explore the interactive kid's areas including a play are with an airplane, slide, and iPads. There are also themed rooms including a Chronicles of Narnia room where you walk through a wardrobe into Narnia. They also have a firefighter room, a soft play area, a theater with dress up clothes and puppets, and even a kid's radio station. There is also a soda shop with snacks and drinks. Then there's the bookstore itself. It's large with its a lot to free including amazing clothes, Horne decor, kid's section, tons of books, and jewelry. The staff was friendly and helpful and we even managed to get a great deal on all the fun things we bought. Highly recommend!

Ahhh!! We got to visit Whit's End! It has been over 10 years since we have stopped in. We decided to bring my kiddo and let her see the kid's area, theaters etc. There is a food/beverage area down there as well! The bookstore had a lot of different materials, and I actually found what I had been looking for! We are learning the Books of the Bible and I needed a fun book or chart to help my children remember them in order. They had a colorful chart with the names of the Books of the Bible on the frontside and on the backside it's blank for you to fill it in. Also, I found black and white Bible tabs for my child to color and then attach to her Bible. Fun place to explore!

I make a point to stop and shop at this bookstore every time I can. It's absolutely a wonderful wonderful bookstore.

Great bookstore with diverse and dynamic selection of books and media. My go to place when I want to peruse the bookshelves and pick up a free Citizen magazine. I always come here when I hear a fantastic guest, of which there are many on the broadcast, and want the book they need mentioned ASAP. Live Not By Lies is the latest and greatest to pick up here. For believers only, you're in for an interesting ride and more battles to come in the culture wars. Not going to be pretty. Finish strong!

First, this place is free. They have some pretty amazing stuff for kids that I would pay money for if I had to. Great play areas with different themes. A slide that my 5 year old loves, especially because last visit she was too short to ride it. Religious bookstore inside with other stuff besides books. Nice soda and ice cream shop in the play area. If you've got kids and are in the Colorado Springs area, give this a try.

Whit's End! My husband and I went here to fulfill our childhood fantasy of going to the famous "Whit's End" featured in "Adventures in Odyssey" (our favorite radio show growing up). We went to the cafe and split a sundae. They have several different food/snack option, but I wouldn't go there if you're looking for a meal. It was super fun looking through the bookstore and the children's museum / play area. We spent 1.5 hours here, but if you have kids I imagine you could make it a day's event. They have free birthday rooms and free movie events weekly. Check out their website to see what they have going on!

What a wonderful bookstore and gift shop for the entire family! Great gifts for Moms, Dads, Grads, & baby! Beautiful displays of home decor, and jewelry too. I highly recommend if you are looking for a gift for a special friend, teacher or family member.

Loved it been a fan of adventures in odyssey since I was a kid now my kids like to listen to them we had a great Time got ice cream it was good and the kids loves playing on the slide it was a great time if you like adventures in odyssey or your kids do it's a great spot to visit.

Oh my word. Loved it loved it. So many great items in this bookstore. We went away with items for all ages. Great creation DVDs as well. The free coffee was a huge plus. And hubby enjoyed sitting in the comfy chair watching the wonderful creation movie. While the grandpa enjoy taking a nap on the couch in front of a different movie. While I strolled continuously... The kids watch the VeggieTales or anodyssey in that part of the section of the store.

We discovered this as a happy coincidence on a trip to the Springs. I am a huge FOTF fan and usually order Barbara's Christmas ornaments. With COVID, on the bookstore was open. The store has a wonderful selection of Christian books and gifts. I especially appreciated their large selection of children's books. I found exactly what I was looking for.
